I figured this was worthy enough for a new thread! The Huracan system is complete and ready-to-rock! Premium stainless steel valved x-pipe replaces the factory muffler and outlet pipes for an outstanding upgrade in exhaust tone and performance. The factory exhaust on the Lamborghini Huracan is a very heavy, very restrictive system. The muffler is comprised of multiple chambers, filled with perforated tubing, wool packing, and a set of secondary catalytic converters. The exhaust gas must force its way through all of this in order to exit the system, which robs the car of considerable power. Fabspeed's Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System solves these flow issues, providing significant power gains, weight savings, and an absolutely intoxicating sound. Technical Specs The center X-Pipe Section is 63.5mm/ 2.5" (Valves Closed) The bypass dump pipes are 70mm/ 2.75" (Valves Open) Maximum power gains of +29whp and +19 ft/lbs of torque are seen at 8000 RPM. Peak power is increased to 584whp and 420ft/lbs of torque. Fabspeed system saves 23lbs, which is a 35% weight reduction vs. the factory muffler. (Factory = 66lbs, Fabspeed = 43lbs) Valve Functionality The valve functionality is controlled via the factory “Anima” switch located on the bottom of the steering wheel which controls a wide array of vehicle dynamics, including transmission behavior, steering and suspension settings, stability control and more. It has the following modes: STRADA: Transmission shifts automatically for optimal fuel efficiency, suspension on full soft, stability control on, and the exhaust valves are closed from 0-4200 RPM (Best for standard street driving and cruising around without causing a stir.) SPORT: Transmission shifts automatically at higher RPM for sportier driving, suspension stiffens, stability control is less intrusive, and the exhaust valves open more freely under heavy throttle application. (Good for sportier driving when you want the car louder and stiffer, but don’t want to be in full “race” mode.) CORSA: Transmissions is shifted manually, suspension at full stiffness, stability control off, exhaust valves locked open. We recently had Brian with his beautiful black 2008 Gallardo Spyder in the Fabspeed shop for an install. He had our Supersport X-Pipe with Quad Tips and a BMC Replacement Air Filter installed. It’s finally here! This past weekend Fabspeed Motorsport opened its doors to a gorgeous Rosso Mars Huracan. When the weather dramatically changed to Spring temperatures yesterday it was the PERFECT chance to get the car outside and do a photo shoot before the car was put up in the air on the lift for the development to begin. Lamborghini revived the Superveloce name for its newly-improved Aventator, and it's a deserving wearer of the name. Feast your eyes, on the lighter, rawer, more powerful Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, the fastest production Lamborghini ever built. The naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine gets a 50-horse bump to 750 screaming horsepower and 690 lb-ft of torque, thanks in part to a freer-flowing exhaust and refined valve timing. That newfound power gets put to the ground through Lamborghini's Haldex-based permanent all-wheel-drive system, featuring an electronic locking diff out back and an E-LSD up front. The power gets routed through 20-inch, 255-width front tires and 21-inch, 355-width rears, mounted to centerlock wheels. All that power's got a lighter load to carry around: Thanks to ample use of carbon fiber and the grand supercar tradition of charging more money for less stuff, Lamborghini says it's trimmed 110 lbs from the Aventador. The car has a power-to-weight ratio of 4.48 pounds per horsepower. That should give you an idea what it's capable of. Specifically, Lambo says it'll do 0-62 in 2.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 217 mph. To keep things steady at those speeds, the SV wears an aggressive aero kit, including a boy-racer rear wing adjustable to provide up to 70 percent more downforce than the garden variety Aventador. Inside, you'll find, well, not much. The carbon-fiber monocoque chassis is more visible thanks to sparse upholstry, the instrument cluster wears a G-force indicator. The infotainment system is a no-cost option, while the carpets and noise insulation just plain isn't there. What does all of this add up to? A 3,362-lb supercar that will price near $370,000 when it hits the market in "late spring." And endless drooling from the rest of us regular folk who can never dream of buying such insanity.
