  1. Thanks for the heads up. This was a 991 RS? Do you know if the brakes were PCCB or steel? I wonder if that makes a difference.

I have been reading a lot about these since we got the build slot in Oct. I'll have to search and see if I can find more info. That would be very concerning and scary if it happened!

OK some porsche driver drove this same car, hard. Verdict: it doesn't like overlapping brake with accel. No overlap, no problem. The guy that triggered the issue is very aggressive with his left foot braking.

    Congrats and enjoy the car.

  2. Had an acquaintance sell his recently. Beware of brake "ice mode" on track/extreme use.

Brake pedal just goes rock solid, happened multiple times, same place on same track. Can't turn ABS completely off.

You may never encounter it but I'd hate for something to happen and I didn't mention it.

  3. Again, its due to race always being in your face. The media loves it, but this is what it creates, a divide. We're going backwards with all the political correctness, categorization non sense.

It's all divide and conquer and done on purpose for easy votes. Racism (BLM, immigration), sexism (feminism, sexual abuse), class (welfare, taxes) are all polarizing divide and conquer tools.

Edit: Ahh, just saw your previous post.

  4. And the RNC isn't corrupt? Sure there are no emails regarding derailing Trump's nomination bid?

What it implies is Russia believes America would be weaker with somebody like Trump who has no real understanding of foreign policy and said things like nuclear proliferation is a good thing. Trump also has publicly stated he is willing to destabilize long existing alliances that have kept Russian aggression in check. Trump's statements America could work with Russia are a pipe dream. Clinton is a hawk and will be far more assertive than Obama and they know it. Russia couldn't give a flying fcuk whether we are more or less corrupt. All they care about is weakening America both internally and externally. Romney was right about Russia in 2012.

There's corrupt, then there's corrupt beyond all recognition.

Long term benefits for Russia from less corruption (and Trump) my ideas were it would be more difficult for USA to employ it's global tactics from too much transparency and would be easier for Russia to gain influence through USA mainstream media outlets without the stranglehold the DNC has over it all.

Trump will have a steep learning curve when it comes to USAs strategic use if it's power over the globe however with a more unified USA (which is what Trump is aiming for right?) the long term benefits will far outweigh the short term 4-8 yr cost.

I do agree there are benefits to Russia from the Podesta emails all coming out right now but only in the relatively short term. I'd think Russia plans further ahead than 4-8 yrs.

    Interesting times.

  5. For those who gleefully await each day to dissect the next Wikileaks dump and then use it as ammunition against Clinton, the DNC etc. while claiming there is no proof Russia is ultimately not behind it. Ponder this.

Do you think for one second, Wikileaks hasn't or won't acquire similar information about the Republican political machine and when it serves Russia's interest to destabilize, interfere or undermine, dump it. I guess that is one conspiracy theory too far for this election cycle.

This is a case where the enemy of your enemy is not your friend.

Ok lets roll with Russia is behind WikiLeaks:

WikiLeaks is exposing corruption in DNC/Clintons. That implies Russia would benefit from a less Corrupt USA. I think the whole world and the US population would benefit from that. Yes WikiLeaks info is destabilizing the USA in the short term but I don't see how a less corrupt USA would outright benefit Russia long term.

I can think of two abstract reasons but would like to hear your take 1st.
