wow, i really would like to put those skirts on the wall. I have always loved the R-GT.
Why the ??

I have no idea. I was just looking around for GT and GTR engine pics in my spare time and came across this, I havn't seen the individual throttles partially disassembled before.

So I had a little disagreement with my supermodel girlfriend two weeks ago. I think I am going to give up on women alltogether and become gay.
Come on man.

This is not the one that has title issue right?
I'm not sure what you mean. The Diablo GTR is track only unless you live in Japan and somehow get it passed for the road. The issues surrounding the Diablo GT for use in the USA is mentioned in other threads.

That GT-R is so bad ass. I would choose it over any other lambo.
Reading the PDF and the linked page it seems it is for sale.

I'm lost for words.

I'm not a buyer but I like to think time is getting ripe for a V12 Supertrophy series with a road car variant that will make the 50th cars look like sensible daily drivers, like the Diablo GTR and GT cars.

That's when the first owner traded it in and it was for sale at Lamborghini Melbourne. Here is my pic from then:
Interesting. My pics were taken in Sydney at the old dealer premises on McLachlan Ave in Rushcutters Bay.

You can't see from these pics but this Diablo has yellow badges on the rear which I guess inspired the orange with yellow drop shadow SV script.
-
OK so no Diablo's for sale here, wow.
Dated 3rd of April 2006, taken at night on my way home:
Yes I was surprised to see the orange script, interesting color choice. I didn't think it looked that bad in the flesh but black would be much much better. If you want all the pics I took at Motorclassica last year PM me.

I am surprised at just how low Diablo prices have been over the last 10 years, IMO they were basically fully depreciated for a long time. It's easy to say that in hindsight but I didn't want to talk up the prices earlier to make them more expensive! I guess I missed the boat on this one for now.
Pic taken by the seller. I am finally going to receive her on Saturday and I'll update with my own pics then.Fcuk yeah congrats and have fun tomorrow! I have a couple of poor quality phone pics somewhere I took of that car without the "SV" scripting, I'll dig them out and put them in the thread.
I see what you mean about no Diablos on the market here right now, just one high mileage 6.0 for sale at this minute on Carsales.

I really hope RomanDad gets a job as a driver for Lamborghini.

Subaru should be pissed, not Lambo.

Here's my youtube flag, there wasn't a category for douchery:
Thank you for submitting your report. Here is the information we received from you:
Issue reported:
Hateful or abusive content > Abusing vulnerable individuals
Timestamp selected:
0:02
Additional details:
The guy videoing abused the Lamborghini driver by relentlessly stalking him for close to an hour.
-
Then at the end the douche calls 911 like a little girl, and I bet he was told to stop stalking the Lambo and stop wasting their time.
-
He didn't do anything to make them look like a bunch of incompetent morons, the politicians did it to themselves.
2 hours of dealing with morons, I would have lost my shit in 5 minutes haha!

All three are UK reviews.

That's an Aventador coupe with the roof gone. RIP.

my dd is SEXIST.

Yeah this ain't no fire from a faulty heat shield or poorly positioned oil line. The engines have been throwing rods from either incorrect tension on the bolts, or from faulty rod bolts, punching a hold in the block then oil goes everywhere in engine bay. It's easy to imagine what is required to replace the rod bolts on a boxer engine, hence the whole new replacement engines from factory.

Thanks for the info in this thread, truly amazing and very interesting.
A little more...I am sure some of you are asking why the Diablo GT (total of 80 built from 99 to early 2000) are not DOTA/EPA approved. There is still one at the factory and one was crashed were the new owner and the Factory Sales rep died in the crash within a day of taking possesion of it in Spain..so only 78 made it out to market."Wasn't there a black GT that was destroyed in a horrible crash in Sardinia at the official introduction of the GT? Test driver was driving with a potential client as passenger, test driver killed along with a passenger in the car involved, a truck was also involved. (info from some magazine article)

It's really no different than a 6.0
I don't think there is any gotchas but they are aging and often need lots of restoration on brakes, suspension, exhaust, interior, body (especially those parts prone to scraping and rock chips), clutch is engine out, leaks, hoses.
Lastly, check if it's real gt. Not many are from factory
The GT and GTR have a unique intake into the engine with an individual throttle blade for each cylinder, can spot a real one miles away.
