  1. After a long winter sleep my diablo won't fire up. I change the cap, rotor and new plugs to get it ready for the summer fun. The engine turns over but won't fire up. I checked the spark and it seems fine. I don't hear any fuel pumps prime when you put the key in the on position. I don't remember if they did. I never payed any attention to them. Any body have any other ideas. Thanks
  2. Is there any way to bleed my cooling system on a 91 Diablo. I think I have air in the system. Temp going up and down. I had the same problem in my Testarossa and it had bleeder screws on the pipes near the rads. Once I let the air out I never had it happen again. Are there any bleeder screws in the Diablo? Or is the filler cap the highest point in the car. thanks
  3. You can try here. http://www.naerc.com/html/ind_parts/ind_pa...ights/index.cfm
  4. Wow I didn’t think this would be such a touchy subject. It's just something that crossed my mind. It's not like I have a saw in my hand ready to cut the car up yet. I said yet. I would agree with abolfaz. I have a schematic of the Diablo frame and talked to several race car frame builders, you could drive this car with no body on it at all, because its designed like a dun buggy. I could just go and buy a roadster but what’s the fun in that. I’ve done all my own service, taken the engine out, spent all kinds of time with this car. I think I know it more than my wife. I just thought it would be cool to do it all myself. Why do people buy old wrecks, and spend time to resort them when they can find one already done and just buy it. May be its for the money or just the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
  5. The picture is off an 2005 calander that just poped up again when I was cleaning.
  6. Why does everyone talk about re-sale value. I bought my car to drive it. If I where to do this to my car and put all the time and money into it why would I sell it. I love my car and it rocks. I drive it every chance I get, even to the corner store to buy milk. I have 51,000 km on it and plan to drive it until my number is up. Then just past it on to the next guy to enjoy.
  7. I know way back I posted the thought of having the top removed on my 91. Here is a picture for the reason why I wanted to do it. I think this car looks great. Better then a roadster.
  8. Can any one please tell me how wide a 91 Diablo is from mirror to mirror. I think they stick out more then the back end. I am out of town and can't get anyone to my car to check so I thought I would ask here. I am building an inclosed trailer an would like to make sure it fits. Thanks
