  1. I currently own a Ferrari 360 spider and was looking into buying a Gallardo with a 6 Spd Manual clutch. I do most of my own work and was wondering do you have to remove the engine to do the clutch? I used to own a diablo and don't want to do the whole engine out thing anymore. Thanks
  2. I have the quicksliver muffler replacement on mine but have high flow cats. You can hear what it sounds like on you tube. Just do a search on you tube for "diablo pace car". It sounds fantastic.
  3. does anyone know where I might be able to buy a Lamborghini Tuque? It gets cold here in Canada. Thanks
  4. Alittle photo shop action. I had this picture made into a 4 foot long poster.
  5. Anyone know how to remove the seats out of 91 Diablo. I'm looking to get them redone. Thanks
  6. I would like to say George and Evens Auto is one of the best Lambo mechanics around. I just got me car back from Even after having a complete engine out major over haul done to my 91 Diablo and it was A1 service all the way. New timing chain guides, upgrade tensioners, complete engine re-gasket, new Kevlar clutch, and new trany sincros. Complete engine clean and paint also painted the engine bay. Car runs and drives fantastic. Got it home opened the back lid to show it off last night to couple of my friends. All I can say is Woooow. Nice work George. Thanks
  7. I would just like to thank George form Evans Auto in Ohio for doing a fantastic job in getting my 91 Diablo running better then ever. Best service and workmanship I have ever received from anyone repairing one of my cars. If you ever have any issues with you car I highly recommend George. I would also like to thank Andrew who went out of his way to help me out, and was able to share some laughs with. I definitely couldn’t have done it with out these guys. Thanks
  8. Thanks again guys. I knew what the "P" light ment because it goes on and off with the parking brake. I'll have to check the brake fluid level. I live in Canada just across from Detroit. I think I just might have it towed to Detroit Michigan Lambo dealer for a check up and see what it needs.
  9. Thanks for all the help so far guys. This car has no O2 Sensors. I took the muffler heat shield off and looked all down the exhaust. It looks like they where removed and plugged. Can't find the wire either. Hi topcarbon. Just checking to see if you found an answer for the light on the dash. Thanks
  10. One of the dash lights that stays on after I start the car has a circle with an exclamation mark in it. I can't seem to find this in the owners manual. Anyone no what it means.
  11. Hi guys I draine the gas once I got the car home, and changed all the fluides. Looks like it might be an O2 Sensor issue. In the engine bay on top of the right wheel there are a couple of white bars with wires coming out of them, they are unpluged. Once I plug them in and try to start the car I get the right o2 sensor light and beep and the engine stops. I'll have to do some diging because I thought the sensors where on top of the Y-Pipe of the exhaust were both headers came together. It looks like there is a plug there. I'll have to located it. I'm going to start removing stuff from the car today.
  12. Car is in my garage and it back fires when I put it in gear just to move it forward or backward. Car has about 48,000km your right in saying the car needs a service. There are no records. I also did a carfax and all is clean. I just wanted to try to fix it myself or maybe sell it before I sink tomuch into it because I already own a 91 Diablo.
  13. Hi Guys Picked up a 91 diablo which was in bad running condition but for a great price and in good condition. I changed all the spark plugs, cap, rotor and both coils. Car runs but when you give it gas there is a lag befor the engine picks up. Also when I put it in gear and put the engine under a load to move the car forward it back fires. Does this sound like an engine timing issue or something else.
  14. Hi Lambo128 Are the regulators the two pieces at the end of the fuel rails with the rubber hoses going to them. I don't have a parts manual yet, I just bought one and it should be here soon. thanks
  15. Hi Lambo128 I took the pumps out, put them on the ground and used the 12v battery from the car to turn them over. They try to move you can here a hummmmm but nothing pumping. thanks
  16. Those are numbers for a replacement fuel pump. I was in Nasville for the past 2 days and I found set at a autoparts store which sold Bosch and I pick up 2 for $250 US each. I will be installing them this weekend. The fuel filters are made by Fiat #9-31-981.00 this number is right on the 2 filters at the gas tank just before the pumps.
  17. well guys thats what it is. I took out both of my fuel pumps and tested them, and they sound bad. Can't get them to move. Does any one have any idea where to get a couple new ones or is there a sub I could use. I'll call a lambo dealer in the morning and get some prices. Fuel filters look bad to. Here are the part numbers I found Bosch# 580464048 Napa# p72018 AutoZone E7334 Being in Canada makes it a little heard to find. Anybody help me in prices an help me ship them to Canada. Thanks
  18. Hi Lambo128 I did remove the fittings at the end of the fuel rail then tried to make the pumps turn and nothing came out. I attached a 12V battery directly to the terminals of the fuel pump and they still have a hard time turning. I with remove them and try them on the ground see how things go then. Thanks
  19. Well here is the verdic. Lifted the car and opened the panel to get to the fuel pumps. Took the lines off the fuel rails and ran some wires to the fuel pump to a 12v battery and boy do they sound bad. They don't sound like they are turning but make a bad humming noise like they are stuck. Must have left some bad gas in it to long, car hasn't been started for about 6 months. Haven't been home much. So now I have drain the gas tank and will start tomorrow removing the fuel pumps. I will first try to repair them myself of course. Does any one know how much a new set of pumps would cost and were I might find them? I will also remove all the fuel filters and replace them to since I have all the gas out of the car. Does anyone know were I can buy them also. It looks like there are 2 near the fuel pumps and 2 under the rad filler tank. Thanks
  20. Hi guys. Just undid the fittings at the end of the fuel rail and turned the key and no gas came out. So I think I have a fuel pump issue. So I will start down that road and let you know what I find.
  21. All good info. I will try again once I get home from work today. The numbers I posted are the wires on the cap starting at one and going clockwise. The firing order marked on the car is 1-7-4-10-2-8-6-12-3-9-5-11 I'll keep posting what I find. Thanks
  22. Thanks Lambo128 Looks like I have the #1 correct. Can you tell me from there clockwise what the wire numbers on the cap are just to double check. I will also losen the fuel rail lines to see if any gas is getting there. Thanks for all your help. This is what I have and it looks to be right with the firing order. 1-12-4-9-2-11-6-7-3-10-5-8 Have to keep ducking in and out of the garage with nobody noticing me leaving my easter dinner party.
  23. Hi andrew I live about 15-20 minutes from the tunel of Detroit Lambo128 I have 12V at terminal 30 with the key off and 12V at 30 and 86 with the key on. Can the fuel pumps be seen or are they in the gas tank? I was going to disconnect the fuel lines from fuel filters and run a spare line to a pale and see what happens. I looked around and don't see anything that I might have disconnected. Does any have a layout of the distributor cap wiring I just want to check to see that I didn't screw that up. I no the firing order just want to make sure I put all the wires back in the correct spots. Which one is #1. The cap is labled 1A 1B and so on.
  24. Hi guys thanks for the help. andrew I live in Windsor, Ontaro, Canada. The mistake I made was I didn't start it before I changed everything, I just thought it would be easier to work on a nice cool engine for a change. I put new plugs, cap, roter, changed the oil and drained the coolant and refiled her up fresh. I looked at all the fuses behind the passanger foot kick plate and the ones behind the seat by the relay and they all look fine. I just bought the tec. manual last night from the quy on e-bay. I thought this would be a good place to start and understand my car if I want to start doing all my own repairs. Checked the relay power and this is what I have Key off there is power from 86 to 30 - 12 V Key on there is power from 86 to both 87 - 87 terminals - 12 V Nothing on 85 terminal ?
  25. Found the relay. When I turn the key to the on position it clicks but I don't hear any fuel pump action am I suppose to?
