The ballistics on the subsonic stuff just dies past 50 yards. That being said my savage mark ii with a huntertown can is silly quiet with regular rounds. I can't imagine how quiet this will be with sub sonic!
Dang, I was hoping to enter a 1000 yard match this weekend.
This stuff does better since it starts out subsonic and doesn't suffer from '22 drag syndrome' like the other supersonic stuff does. it's also 50% heavier, so that helps maintain some velocity too. I have a Huntertown .22 can, and plan to test it on this rifle. Right now I've got my Sparrow on it. Should be a fun gun for the backyard and whatnot.

Thanks! It's built specifically for the 60gr. Aguila SSS subsonic stuff, but should shoot standard rounds pretty well too.

Get rid of that crappy plastic grip and put a Hogue Tamer grip on it. It will help a lot.
Good call. I had one on my .50 DE and really helped. I also have one of those Knoxx breacher grips laying around. I should try that one out too, but I've been gun-lazy since it's not much fun to shoot during the AZ summertime. Just built up a fun suppressor host a few weeks ago, too:

ha, I missed this earlier. yeah that course looked pretty fresh; could use a few seasons to break it in... sweet run tho. Brings back memories of the good ole days, sprinting a 40# squishmobile through the finish line when you're already fully gassed. Like in the video, nowadays I too would have probably bypassed those two huge gap jumps! getting old sucks. I'm no longer invincible!

I built an AOW just because it was a cheap NFA stamp ($5). But i can't say that shooting a 12Ga pistol is may favorite gun to shoot! It's a calmer with the shorty rounds, but they dont cycle that reliably.

Meant to post this earlier, great mix of modern and homely.
Cool joint. That single pole (that 'ruins' the view when the pocket windows are opened) saved them 10's of thousands in construction costs. I was designing a similar feature before, and having no support pole like that caused an exponential rise in costs. Kinda like Fortis' kitchen island, it's very difficult/expensive to cantilever that far!

I liked it too, and wished it was a tad longer. Apparently they had about an hour more material that they removed for the final cut. I hope it was historically accurate? Of course they made Suge look terrible but spared Dre the same fate despite his apparent history of woman beating. Looking forward to the obviously incoming sequel with Tupac, Snoop, Death Row, etc.

Design could be nicer but great location.
Pretty cool. Design could be better and I'd prefer to have left more of the natural terrain under/around the house, rather than blading it. I'm surprised this got approved by the CA. Coastal Commission.

Kinda, but better than having several belligerent residents think they can intimidate or out-muscle the solo police officer and things getting REALLY out of hand.
Police are here to enforce the law. If you break a law (no helmet) then run from them when caught, they are not going to look the other way.
It's really simple. Don't break the fkn law. If you do break the law, surrender to the LEO when caught and accept your punishment. Most of these supposed "racist cop stories" would be a non-issue if people would just follow the fkn law in the first place, and surrender when they don't.
Or, just GTFO of Kali. You can't go 20 minutes there without breaking some obscure law.

No criticism taken! I am far from an expert, and enjoy learning from you more experienced guys.
Yeah for CC I usually carry a G26 or G19, so I have several of each. This drop leg ordeal was simply because I needed to move that weapon off my waist while maintaining quick accessibility. I could easily carry a bigger caliber weapon in that rig, and perhaps now I have an excuse to get one! G20 here I come.

Yeah I like that it can ride a little higher on the thigh, like it should. It being slightly spaced out helps when your running full kit. And I love how easy it is for you to transition from the drop leg to having it on your carrier when driving. As long as you have that quick detatch wheel thing on your carrier.
Just curious, and I don't mean anything negative at all. But how come your running a 19 on a drop leg? Also I bet it was nice up there in the back country. Better then the hot desert here. Haha.
Yeah I bought a few extra of the wheel things. And a paddle. The modularity is a nice benefit of the system.
I was backpacking and needed the gun off my waist (backpack waist belt would interfere) but still on my person with quick access. Seemed like a good solution - is there a better way?

I tired to but the Gcode leg holsters but couldn't figure out what I needed to buy to make it work
I just spent a day in the Utah backcountry with a G-code REAC drop leg, SOC holster, and my G19. I like it because it can be adjusted to ride higher on the leg than other drop leg holsters I've tried... but I found the whole setup sticks out a bit far and would scrap/bang on rocks when going up a tight canyon section. I wished the package was lower profile and hugged in tighter on my thigh. Overall it seemed to work OK.

AKA, don't finance your fun. Buy with cash or wait till you can. Then once you buy, USE it, ENJOY it, get your miles out of it. Nothing sillier than buying a fun toy that you don't use.
I bought one of the first supercharged Range Rover Sports back in 2005 when that model was released. I had it on a pretty serious offroad run that weekend - people were freaking out that i was taking it offroad. People are weird. Get out and enjoy your vehicles, otherwise they're just garage art.

Yeah that's normal, in my experience. "I know a guy" who would tell the manufacturer that he was Mr. Previousowner in order to get warranty parts shipped out. Once you tell them the property has switched ownership, you're hosed.
