    Why do you assume that only people that lean left were there to protest the white supremacists and not mixed up with the violence as the situation devolved? There aren't Republicans who think they are scum too?

     

    Also, there is some irony to getting the shit beaten out of you because you are racist. I am not saying it's right, but I'm not crying any liberal tears over it.

    Don't equate antifa, or alt left to the WW2 vets.

    The alt left causes violence indiscriminately once they appear at a march or rally. They have no issue taking a baseball bat to the back of someones head, because they think they might be a nazi or say things they dont like.

    World War 2 vets are in no way comparable. Military vets voted for Trump in a 2 to 1 ratio. WW2 Vets probably hate the alt-left socialists and communists just as much as they hate alt-right Nazis.

    Very silly comparison to make

    If we wanted to drudge up history to try to apply them to todays issues we could play another silly game.

    Which party voted to abolish slavery with the 13 amendment? 100% republican support and %23 democrats

    Which party gave the right for all to vote with the 15th amendment? 100% republican 0% democrat

    Which party gave citizenship to freed slaves? %94 republican and 0% democrats

     

    Are they the same parties as today? on either side? Not at all

    Just as stupid as comparing WW2 soldiers 70 years ago fighting a war to college kid communist thugs with bats trying to stop people the disagree with from speaking.

    Dont get me wrong.. I love the Jag... BUT.... No way it weighs 2300lbs.... 700hp probably abit optimistic as well.

    Just a quick Google search says the standard XJ220 weighs 3,240.8 lb and then right below it it says the TWR weighs 2319 lbs, what did they remove to lose 1000 pounds of weight in the TWR?

    I'm sure there we're. I'd hope there we're. As someone with right views/ beliefs I personally cringe hard when I hear a slogan like "Unite the right" and then see hate filled angry guys with torches.

    But like we talked about a few pages back it's also their right to say their hate filled angry views just as much as anyone else. And if there hadn't been hate filled violent angry antifa (and the possibility of rights against the message unite the right was spreading like you mentioned) there wouldn't have been any violence. They had bats. Sticks. Armor. Shields. They came to fight. They came to stop people who said things they didn't agree with, with violence.

    They came to fight and people got hurt and killed

    I'm against any group that espouses violence towards others and suppression of their rights.

    As am I and as I think most sane Americans are. The question that's being raised is why is there only outrage in the media when violence comes from the right when there's been HUGE amounts of attacks and violence coming from the left since before the election? Why doesn't it receive the same amount of coverage? Why is it bad to point out that there we're violent members from left groups as well as violent members from right groups?

    New jersey gets it. Time the rest of the states get on board

    It's not....violence undercuts the message and allows racists to conflate.

    BLM members calling for deaths of white people, holding black only rally's on campuses and holding events purposely meant to discriminate against whites = not racist: shouldn't be mentioned. Got it :icon_thumleft: :eusa_think:

    Two wrongs don't make a right. But pointing out the lefts violence and hypocrisy is an excellent thing to do while also calling out violent racist on the right

    I don't know what you are watching, he called out the white nationalist 50 times by now. He also called out the scumbag Alt left and the press and libs go crazy. The mom of the woman that was killed accepted what Trump had to say. Both sides have poor excuses for humans but only the right can be called out without the snowflakes getting their collective panties in a bunch.

    It's only bad when the right does violent things. Antifa has been rioting, burning vehicles, attacking people, shutting down events and speakers they don't agree with since the end of last year. What an awful leader for pointing it out

     

    Do we remember the black lives matters member that shot and killed five Dallas police officers? I do remember Obama calling him despicable and viscous. Why we'rent there calls for him to condem BLM?
