  1. I think at least two will go from Norway. As for myself, I have vacation later in the summer, and don't think I will be able to do this, and instead, I plan to have my car ready for next years 50'th anniversary. But i think this will be a good one I absolutely would attend if I could.

I plan to be there ... would indeed be nice to see some LP members in Italy !!

  2.

Mostly play accoustic (classical).. 9 guitars in the collection now including a good old strat but as far as unamplified sound is concerned the Ramirez Centenario is the absolute favorite.. nothing beats the good old Brazilian rosewood..

Now only if I could find the time to play more..

  3. Wow, beautiful garage and collection cowchaser.

    how's the Miura restoration going?

    Thanks for the compliments.

The Miura is now being taken apart. Engine already out. Back end completely removed.

Parts purchasing on the way and as it seems we'll be doing a complete frame-off restoration including full mechanical overhaul.

I have some pics on my phone will post back as soon as I have them on my PC.

  4. Indeed it's best to cycle the alarm several times and retry but I suppose you already tried that.

The MED system can of course block the fuel pump and don't forget the extra valve in the fuel line that's controlled by the alarm as well. But since there's no crank at all it could be something different.

Do you get any error code in the display (flashing CEL) ?

  5. I havent been on this forum for a while, but what a great collection you have got now! Is that Olivier Nameche`s former Miura?

Just a stellar garage and setup. A wonderful place to house such works of art

Thanks for the thumbs up !

The Miura is still in restoration. Actually we just started to take her apart.

She will be back to her former glory hopefully during next year.

  6. What happened to your Balloon White/Aranci Argos garage idea? :)

Decided to leave out any extreme colours so the cars will stand out better.

The walls are metallic silver, dark-gray ceiling and a black epoxy pebble floor with stainless steel flakes mixed through the epoxy did the trick.

  7. Holy shit! Is your dad a vampire?

    LOL ...

    That's hilarious.. !!

But than again this is some serious food for thoughts.... proves again that a regular health check never hurts.

Especially when getting into the 40's, to get an annual checkup is not such a bad idea.

So thanks for the wake-up call ! Both diabetes and also high-blood pressure can be silent killers..

Seems you're on the right track Erik. An immediate change of lifestyle and eating habbits is indeed the only solution to try and get rid of medication.

    Take care !

  8. He's very secretive about it, but it's stuff like a complete overview over all Diablos ever to leave the factory, documents regarding the original Miura Jota, the statement from Lamborghini regarding the SE30 prototype and its tuned engine (a scan of this one is somewhere here on the forum) etc. I say "stuff like", cause I'm not sure these examples is what he actually got his hands on.

I vote to have all documents scanned and shared by publishing them on-line !

  9. My dealer, he has been there and seen it with his own eyes. He managed to buy a lot of stuff though, saving it from destruction. Everything from stuff like original wrapped Diablo GT instruction manuals to small spare parts and some very unique historical documents. They even had a BUCKET FULL of Diablo key blanks they actually threw away since they thought they didn't need them... Unfortunately he didn't get them first.

Indeed sad to see this news appear. ...

BTW What unique historical documents did your dealer find ?

  10. It's even worse than that. Audi destroyed a lot of historic documentation and threw loads of spare parts in the trash.

Where did you find this information ? I know in the past (pre-Audi) a lot of documentation was destroyed, especially during the days that the factory was not in a financially good shape and was subsequently sold.
