Possibly some of the owners complained to their Government recall body (which anyone can do) so Lambo was forced to act but God only knows how many others are really affected ..
I'll be checking up on mine lol
No manufacturer would issue a recall only for those who complain LOL

My favourite of the Gallardo series, no Gallardo sounds as good as that from the factory.

Awesome screenshots Fortis.
The rear end looks amazing, I can't wait for the SVJ to be unveiled.
The rear end is what the competition sees

Put a deposit down for a roadster. Plan on doing it in Viola Parsifae. Now the wait....
That’s fantastic that color will blow your mind, congrats

5 lug Ferrari wheel from a 812 came off clean, not an isolated case either, never heard of a centre lock to let go, I am sure it’s a preventing measure, 5 lugs isn’t any safer or equally as safe I guess.

Bullshit or they’d be numbering them.
There’s 25 coupes for sale in the US, loads in th UK blah blah. They’ll make as many as they can sell.
I agree, they’ve delivered lots of them locally, they are almost as common as the regular model, still a blast to drive

Congrats enjoy it in the best of health, this forum doesn’t do pics unfortunately unless they are very low resolution.

I didn’t know there are only six colors. Are they allowing Ad Persona ?
They will, I think he’s referring to the base colors.

I think I voted, I followed the instructions but didn’t get a confirmation, good luck

I love the car! More importantly, I like it more the more I drive it! There are some "gotchas" you have to watch out for... The OEM brake pads are not good for track use. And if you do go on track with them, you have to change them out at 50% pad wear because they wear exponentially once you get down to 50%. Learned that lesson the hard way. I now use Pagid RSC1 pads that work well but the RSC3 may be better for pad wear... The car is thoroughly engaging and visceral to drive. Corsa mode handling is top notch with crisp turn-ins and negligible understeer. On track, you can feel the ALA working in corners! Street driving is a joy with the naturally aspirated V10 being the crowning glory of this car! shifts in Corsa are addictive! The speedo is a little optimistic with its reads - sometimes it is off by 10 mph at 175 mph! I have more photos from last Friday's events I may post once I get them!
Sorry about your buddy's 812. That sounds like someone did not tighten the lugs. I have owned Ferraris and while their paint quality is not the best, mechanical quality is quite good now. Hope you get to go out for a proper run soon and enjoy your perf! post photos or links to photos...
Great feedback thank you.
There is definitely an issue with the wheels coming off, there was at least another case reported.
I will attempt to post some photos, maybe I can reduce their quality and post directly.

Wow, there's actually an active post on fchat about someone losing the rear wheel on the 488 during track day last month. Scary stuff.
I saw that thread, exactly the same thing happened to my friend, same wheel also.

Ferrari build quality...
This could’ve had some horrible consequences.
-
I can’t wait to see it without wraps

Talking about photos, this is me driving my Performante with my wife as passenger at last Friday's night track event by Edge Addicts at the Circuit of the Americas!
Damn that's HOT!!!
How do you like it so far?
I only had a chance of doing a half run last week, we had to turn around and escort a buddy back to safety his 812 decided to let go of a rear wheel we were in the middle of the bush, very lucky that he didn't end up losing it in a ravine or even worse, wrapped around a tree, very scary!

Your 911 gt3 will go the track and so 100 Laps any issues . I don’t see any of the Italian super Cars lasting as long without some form of a glitch
Performate, this car is bullet proof.

The engine is so powerful, the wheels just come off.
I know

The Ferrari V12 will always be significant in the automotive landscape. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks of the styling, that's one thing they always get right.
The F140 family in particular has been special -- the Enzo has been the blueprint engine for Ferrari since 2002.
Are you sure they get them right? They should at least try to keep the wheels on them, don't think that's too much to ask LOL

+1.
Makes you wonder what happens to SVJ prices once the replacement is announced especially if they make say a 1,000 SVJs as rumored.
They will be steady, it's never good to get the 1st production year, add a hybrid in there and it get's even scarier, I'd give Lambo a good few years to iron the bugs first.
-
Latest news I've heard is production # will be nearly the same as the SV and a coupe MSRP will top out just under $600 with options.
Early orders should be delivered by Oct-Nov.
Anyone care to share what color they are ordering?
I'm in between a one - off, Blu Nethuns, Verde Themis or a white / black car with a crazy color interior.
Thinking white at this stage but I will reserve final decision until I see the car.
FYI: SV recall; loose centering bolts may cause wheel detachment

No doubt that’s one way to figure out issues with your product, customer feedback, but in that instance the entire line gets called in, if they are only recalling 8 they’ve must’ve discovered an issue with a certain batch of product.
