  1. Is it better to TT the car right from factory so that the components all work together and meld in harmony, or is it better to break the car in and then TT?

Both of mine had delivery miles only when sent to UGR.

Never an issue with either one.

  2. The transmission on the Aventador feels old, compared to the dual clutch on the Huracan. The Huracan is so much more satisfying to drive in every way. It does not have the Aventador's looks but, when you drive the H you forget about looks. That's why I got rid of the Aventasdor and kept the H.

I did the exact opposite, dumped the H for an A. Not a fan of the looks of the H and I enjoy the not so perfect feeling of a single clutch trans. The looks cannot be compared in my opinion.

  3. awesome reviews! ive never been so excited about a car!

curious is everyone going with the LDS option or no? (dynamic steering)

Unless they changed it, I would not recommend it.

I wasn't crazy about it on the first H I had. I preferred

the steering feel on the second H I had which did not

    have that option.

  4. I think my R8 GT was more comfortable, faster and I even felt more confident driving the SL than my Lp570... but I really love the unique style of the SL (stock vs stock)...

I feel the same way with the Huracan, awesome car but I still like the SL Gallardo exotic lines better, Hopefully We can upgrade the Egear to DCT in the near future.

I agree, I felt like I took two steps backwards from the SL to Huracan move in the looks department.

As great as dct is for daily driving, it dramatically reduced the drama/fun feeling. I don't mind having a single clutch on the weekend fun cars.

  5.

I have a question hoping someone here can answer about the '14 coupe I just picked up. Compared to the SV I had, this car is considerably louder once warmed up.

When I start the car and put it into corsa, I don't notice any exhaust volume change/increase. About 5 minutes later after it is warmed up, it gets considerably louder as if the valves opened.

Does this sound like I might have the factory software upgrade?

  6. Yup! Will be interesting to see if Lamborghini has programmed in a more "aggressive" shift with the Huracan Performante. The car seems to be quite the performance beast from what we've heard.

I miss my Aventador's. How you enjoying yours?

So far so good thx. It was a great find. A '14 w/1500 miles and 15 months of remaining warranty. Just picked it up middle of December, just drove it for the second time today. It's much more "mechanical" feeling compared to the H. Much more reminiscent of my SL.

  7. 2 points that hit home are:

"more sterile due to seamless shifts from the dct"

    Vs

    "more raw"

I need visceral cars, not electronic doodads.

I do enjoy more unique cars in limited production that are somewhat race inspired.

I should have bought your perfect white Speciale!!!

How would you compare the Speciale to the STS

Had a Huracan for 6 months and sold it. As Devine pointed out, DCT while ultra fast and seamless shifts definitely dulls the experience.

I'd buy any 570 variant over a standard H any day of the week.

  8. They will strech the Aventador until the end of times (where are the guys who were preaching a 4000 units run? LOL) like they did with the Gallardo, they have to be more dynamic and release new models in shorter cycles 10 years is an enternity in car years also I am not talking about new models which are virtually the same but with different sticker kit on them.

They need the DCT in the Aventador no doubt about it the single clutch is ok but it's archaic. The car would be an absolute monster with DCT, they could recycle the model just by doing this small change because it would completely change the character of the car.

    Absolutely NO DCT!
