How much have you guys spent to lower your car?
It looks like I have to use the Novitec lowering kit and I found the parts at a great price but now I need to figure out what's the labor cost. I was reading another thread on here where it seemed like people were cutting their springs but that seems really crazy to me.
I have had 3 quotes that are all over the place. One is ridiculously low and I don't trust that they have ever done them before because the other 2 quotes are much higher.
What labor price should I expect to be around?
Including full wheel alignment I paid around 1500 all in.
Make sure you get their wheel spacers and find some
Skid plates while you are at it.
Check some of the pictures I posted in Kevin's blue lemans post.

I cannot remember what model Porsche that is in the background. Does ayone know?
I have lucid memories of that model P-car growing up.
In elementary school, my computer teacher used to drive one.
We used use Apple computers in class and he HATED them.
One day, he unplugged one that was experencing issues. He took it outside the computer lab, next to where his Porsche was parked, called the computer "a piece of crap" and threw it across the parking lot .
Can't do that now-a-days.
Anyway....

Santa better find a way to fit this down my mother Fing chimney.
That shit will go nicely into an R8 Hawks!!!!
Amazing craftsmanship as usual
-
the route I will go with mine!
Call Austin at Vivid racing and he will hook you
up when you are ready.

Does the front lift stop working when installed? How is ride quality v stock?
Lift works perfectly, zero issues!
Can't compare ride to stock as I never drove it
Before lowering.
I can say that given the ride height and
nature of the car, I found it completely fine and well mannered.
I'd do it all over again if I were to get another H without hesitation.
-
wow very nice, what did that kit cost roughly parts only?
changes the entire look even with stock wheels!
Spacers/bolts are $900 for all.
Springs average $1750ish for the set.
Even more of a difference in person!
-
looks great! what springs and spacers did you use & what is the name of that wheel?
nice work!
Novitec makes the springs and spacers.
Springs are manufacturered by KW.
It's their H.A.S. (Height adjustable springs)
The height on both front and rear is adjustable at the
time of installation. Ride quality is excellent.
Spacers are 14mm and come with longer bolts.
I have the same setup on my boxster spyder also.
Wheels are Gianno's which is the standard wheel.

Trying to decide if I should change the wheels? Any ideas? I color matched the calipers and lowered it to this point. Its in line for a stage 3 build.
Car looks soooo much better as a spyder than a coupe...which is rarely the case.
Novitec wheel spacers are a must with the factory wheels if you decide to keep them.
My old car picture attached with their springs and spacers.

Anyone ever figure out an after market retrofit for this feature
On '14 and older cars?
-
You only live once get what you like NOW and enjoy the hell out of it.
+1
I am taking deliver of a 14 coupe next week.

Who is the manufacturer?
-
Why do you care, the back will only be seen by the competition
Good point but every time I walk into the garage it's ugly ass is staring at me
It pained me so much when I looked at mine that I already sold it, I was hoping for a nice redesign!
When I shared this opinion of the rear of the current car with my dealer, he said that was the setiment of quite a few people.
I won't be Lamboless for very long
-
Not as aggressive as the SV but still looking pretty darn good.
Talked to a dealer today that saw the car. He said the
"Performance is extraordinary"
Down side he said is that the back of the car is not
drastically different than the current cars which really sucks!
-
Does anyone here have any pictures with these springs installed on an Aventador?
Please share if you do.
Thx!
-
Anyone ever find an after market solution for this?
-
CONGRATS hommie!!
Can't wait to get mine!!
Have a delivery date yet?
-
This gets the ugly terd vote
-
I hope like hell that they fix the back of the car!
Selling my H tomorrow as I just can't stand the rear
-
Looks like it will be Superleggera, not Performante. Lambos VIN codes show an SL designation, and my dealer reached out the other day confirming my deposit on the "new Superleggera", and a "the car is the world’s fastest car at the nurburgring track" pitch

They give any pricing estimates yet?

No. springs are about 1700 for the set. Two pairs of spacers
run $900
I checked and I paid 1200 for install and alignment.
It was the first time this particular dealer installing these
so I'm sure I paid a bit more for the learning curve.
For a grand total of $3800.00
