As an FYI, I can make Murcielago and Gallardo LaRa 6-7 OBDII cables, guaranteed to work! These would be identical to the OEM cables in regards to function-fit, 5' long approximately. I would need 20 pieces of each to make that happen. $500 per.

Still need Actia Basic XS also right?

  2. With the car just sitting the e-gear pump will run approximately every 40 seconds for a second or two to top off e-gear pressure. I'm wondering if my accumulator is failing or if this is standard on the Murcielago LP640. Is everyone here seeing the same behavior in their car or is the e-gear system maintaining pressure when not being used?

To fix your car you need to connect a LARA/TEXA/LEONARDO diagnostic tool and perform clutch relearning and other appropriate actions.

But if you made something wrong mechanically/structurally in the car then it does not help.

Do you know if TEXA or LEONARDO work with Murci LP640 as well, or is the LP640 LARA only?

Still having issues with this , is this plastic piece supposed to pop off from the metal bracket on the windshield or do we completely remove the metal bracket? If we have to completely remove it, please advise how. We tried everything from a heat gun, to floss, to a razor blade, wd40, etc.

    Thanks

Did anyone ever figure out how to remove this part?

Baby wipes, lots of them bring it back to almost new looking, it's just dirt as far as I can tell on my SV that was looking real bad after a lot of miles and dealer tech putting oily/dirty hands all over it at service so spent 5 mins cleaning it with wipes and now it looks great again.

Went for leather on J, doesn’t look as cool but nicer to hold if it’s hot, but not much in it really. Would probably do alcantara if doing again.

    Cool. Swapped mine to Alcántara.

Not sure if you are looking for comments?

Black rockers look better imo if you have shiny black on intakes and splitter as it matches, low down you really can't see carbon unless you bend down.

I have black if you want a pic and have pics next to cf as a comparison

Personally i would skip the cf centre caps as well you just cant see them

I also wouldn't take the travel or light pack as you still get nets behind the seats without and its basically useless. Light pack is personal, i hardly ever use the car at night so not for me

Also you cannot see anything inside the engine bay without removing the lid so internal cf details area little wasted imo

Only other thing is the perforated leather steering wheel may look slightly odd with the Alcantara. Smooth sort of matches the smooth alcantara better if not going alcantara all around, i googled lots of SV pics before choosing, normally perforated would be my choice though.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I was in-between on leather or alcantara, but I was worried about how the alcantara gets worn down. In my previous Lambos with alcantara steering wheels they have basically turned into what looks like rubber.  Is this still an issue?

  7. Attached my updated spec. Viola Pasifae went up in price for MY2020.

    Removed:

    - Sensonum (Going to just do aftermarket)

    - Carbon Fiber Roof (The A Pillars and rear of the car where roof attaches is shiny black so doing that instead )

    - Carbon Fiber Rockers (Front lip is shiny black and if my rockers eat a curb at some point it's a lot easier to fix black than CF)

    Added:

    - Fire Extinguisher

Congrats Sprite! The Murci is such a sick car. I love driving mine but hate the Maintance on the egear. This is my second winter in a row with an engine out to try and fix my dropping into neutral issue. With that said, I still love her lol. She is like a high maintenance supermodel!

If it’s dropping on shifts it’s most likely the accumulator. Seems like a common failure . Symptom is car making some shifts while others drop into N.

Congrats dude! That's awesome, you find a six-speed or e-gear? Got any plans for it or keeping it stock?

It's an e-gear. I'm keeping it stock mechanically except for exhaust. So far I've just powder coated the wheels.  This is all I'm doing with the car:

    - Powder coated wheels black

    - Escort Max CI Radar Detector

    - AL Priority Laser Jammers

    - Tint: 50% windshield, 35% sides

    - Larini Exhaust + Secondary Cat Deletes

    - Pioneer Head Unit with Carplay

    - Focal Speakers

    - 10" Subwoofer behind seat

    - Clear Bra

    - Sending interior buttons off to sticky no more for refinishing
