  1. 63 is just a sticker job, to me isn’t worth the whatever premium they will attached to it also it’s color combo restricted I believe and I’d want to play with Ad Personam.

I literally said the exact same thing up in Monterey....

63 is not just a paint/sticker difference. A-pillars, entire roof , support for wing etc are all exposed carbon. Didn’t some people pay $20k+ just to get their standard A exposed carbon on their roofs ?

Think of the gen 1 Ford GT. They made 4038 of them and 343 were the Heritage edition with the orange and blue livery and Heritage was truly a sticker job and nothing more technical as CF etc and those cars bring $200k more than a standard GT.

...And we literally had this convo :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

It's scary how often we're on the same page Fortis :lol2:

  2. Saw it also... loved it.

Sam. the SV is the best looking car, but if you want pure Italian insanity, this is it. It looks great head on and the details are beyond cool.

So it looks like the enlarged side intakes come in gloss black only; even for the SVJ63; and if my info. is correct, there is no carbon option for these either?

If I'm not mistaken the side bumpers are plastic because they have to comply with the DOT 5 mph deformable bumper requirement. That's not to say some carbon isn't in them, but carbon fiber isn't really deformable. I could be wrong.

  3. Free rides in my Performante

    Interesting... :eusa_think:

Is this like a helicopter ride?

    :lol2: Savage

I met this guy at Quail, lol. We spoke for 10 mins, he seems like a nice guy who loves cars and is putting up an act in hopes of trying to get a big social media presence.

He actually did his crazy act around the SVJ in complete silence. I assume he was going to dub the yelling during editing, pretty smart. And the look he got from the Lambo suits and others was priceless. It was a pissed off WTF look, wish I filmed it.

Another witness. I actually bumped into him at the Quail as well over by the 250 Testarossa, and same thing, normal conversation for a few min, then he went off to film some stuff and I never saw him after. I hadn't seen Fortis' offer yet so for now he lives...

  4. I've been looking for a car i could enjoy taking out the Mrs in and Nipper should i need to and had strongly considered a Ferrari FF. I couldn't get past the pig ugly looks of the FF nor could I resist this when i saw it - stunning, aggressive - perfect cruiser to drive to dinner in, along the PCH and to Monterey next year!

What is it? A 1998 Bentley Continental T Mulliner, 1 of 182 to the US and this car has had over $25k spent on it the last few years - completely rewired, wood refinished (all documented etc). To me this has some of the best lines on a coupe...ever. Arrives after a service in 10 days.

The Chrome wheels are gash but the car has so much chrome on it that it matches and is OEM so will leave it for now.

650 pounds of TQ from 2200 RPM!

Congrats! That's a sharp looking car and that blue on white is a nice combo :icon_thumleft:

  5. That’s just it....as Assman alluded to,

I’m no big shot but I’ve ordered from Lambo Beverly Hills and know Edoardo and Feng quite well but they said they have no pull or say in the Corp party invite.... oh well.

On a happier note I got my spec slot for the SVJ at 8:30 Friday at the Lambo Hospitality....

    So they say...

I can't wait to see what spec you chose. It was hilarious seeing your Murci SV stalking my Uber on Saturday.

Wow huge LP get together, we better get some serious info, photos, comments, jumping around the car while filming, etc.

    How many hours to go?

Well, due to traffic and the general chaos of the evnts we failed at meeting up, though I did run into quite a few members individually. I have some ideas on how to handle the logistics for next year. But it was an epic weekend and it was great seeing the people that I saw. I hope everyone had as epic a time as I did this year :icon_thumleft:

Apparently Debbie Foreman didn’t get invited either and she made a pretty long post on Facebook about it as she’s been a loyal customer for years.

    Did you say.... JUMPING? 😂

There's a reason for that. Not saying I agree with it because Debbie is a super cool person, it's more related to corporate / customer image than anything else and I'll leave it at that.

well turns out most (even Allan lambo) made it to the "Lambo House Party" and we all had a blast! :)

    great seeing the LP crew!!

Yes we did and it was pretty dope! Pictures to follow very soon :eusa_dance:

  6. Thank you everyone who's sent me your info, I'll be sending out a group text tomorrow morning. For those of who want to be on it, PM today. For the rest of you, you can just look for me.

  7. I'm looking forward to seeing this car and importantly a lot of LPers in 2 days :icon_thumleft:

Be sure to PM your contact info so I can start up a group chat to coordinate.

The time to meet will be at the Lamborghini display 20 minutes before the unveiling time (I guess we'll find out the day of as I still haven't gotten the time but it'll be on the schedule).

Message me (text or IG) or just come look for me, I'm tall so I have been told I am easy to spot.

If you somehow miss me at the SVJ lunch, you can find me at the Lamborghini Hospitality Lodge around 12:45 pm.

    See you all there!

  8. Headed to Ojai later in the month and not sure I want to drive 4 hours there and back. Has anyone used a helicopter for this sort of short range trip? I know a llttle about jets from past charters, but nothing about helicopters...at all.

Any tips, recommendations, helicopter makes/models, estimated cost for 3 ppl with light luggage, etc? Anything will help.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know about helicopters but I will say the drive there is fantastic if you want fun, scenic roads.

  9. This is exactly what I was alluding to as society’s demise with SM and the reason I dumped SM.

People act a fool to make $ ....e.g. Logan Paul, etc....my kids idolize these idiots on YouTube. It’s a damn shame. Now really have to curtail our kids watching all this crap and it’s difficult.

As I mentioned before, Social media is an interesting ecosystem. My grandparents thought rock would ruin my parents, my parents thought rap and MTV would ruin me, and now social media is ruining the current generation...I think 90% of people are just not wise and make bad choices, but if your parents do a decent job of keeping you grounded you'll be ok. It's interesting to see the generational differences, and "what's ruining the youth." I don't have kids myself, but after spending a lot of time with my grandparents, parents, and friends who have kids, they all have the exact same concern. So I don't think anything's gotten that much uniquely worse...I just think that parents always see the potential influence of idiocy. So with all of the social media this, that and the other, I think if you teach your kids some solid values they'll turn out ok. A lot of music, movies and games I enjoy today are things my parents feared would ruin me growing up, and they love a lot of things that their grandparents thought would ruin them. Such is life :lol2:

Is it fair to say that the majority of us here have a strong disliking towards the general population?

I don't do public transportation because I hate the public. This is why I will never live in NYC.

  10. I don't know if any of your guys have seen this guy, but I'm wondering what his deal is. Crucial Cali Cars, the guy who jumps up and down and screams profusely. Has anyone seen this guy on Facebook or YouTube? I'm so confused. Is he a normal guy and this is just his act to get more subscribers, or is he autistic?

    https://www.facebook.com/crucialcalicars/?h...5eg&fref=nf

Just seeing this...I actually know that guy quite well, I've run into him a lot (we tend to frequent the same nightlife venues), and actually saw him this past weekend (he tagged along with my birthday group when I bumped into him).

The "jumping excitedly" is 100% shtick, it's grown his IG account and which he's now monetizing. He's an aspiring comedian and he loves cars, so he's found something that is seemingly working for him. He does have some car friends with very nice rides, and they stage a lot of his vids so they both can get some montization from IG.

While he may be way over the top, he never disrespects anyone's cars and he's not bashful about making a fool of himself, which he views as his act.

Not my cup of tea and I don't see this shtick being sustainable in any way, but who knows. Social media is an interesting eco system.

I'll never forget bumping into him for the first time (I was talking to a couple of chicks and he joined in on the convo) and we wound up chatting later that night as he'd seen me around this one place and admired my chick pulling skills. We got to talking and of course cars came up and so we got to talking about cars, then he mentioned his IG had recently started getting because Wolrdstar's IG account posted one of his videos and that started blowing his account up. I was like "So you're the jumping guy..." and he totally owned it and told me the story of how he came up with the shtick. Super random.

I know he's coming up to Monterey Car Week so I'm sure he'll be escorted out of a lot of events.

  11. I am in.

    :icon_thumleft:

I've emailed the event organizers to get the unveil schedule. I'll post the official meet time once I have that.

  12. Can someone with Quail experience give me/us virgins a run down of the layout of the land, how things are set up, do’s and don’ts and a general overview. I am flying in from LA Friday morning and should be at Quail hopefully by 10:30-11 at latest. And flight leaves same day at 7pm so need to leave by 4:30-5ish to be safe and want to maximize the experience. I hear things like Canary row , club house this and that and all sounds foreign lol

The Quail is a great event, there will be a bunch of disposal for cars new and old, all the big makes bring out the latest and greatest, and you'll also get to see all of the executives and designers around. The food stations are legendary and there are 5. Lamborghini will have a hospitality lodge, but it's only worth going if you're doing a test drive, as that's where they leave from.

If you're doing a day trip then just take in the whole event, you'll have no need to go anywhere else really as not much else is happening that day.
