  1. It says between 770 and 800. Which is the numbers most people have been talking about. I expect it to have a slight bump over the S, I'd like it to be more than the Centenario, but I would not be surprised if they land on 770. The car will be superior on track anyway thanks to the ALA imo.

It'll probably be 770 HP stock but 800+ with a race exhaust and tune, like with the gen 1 SV, which was 750 hp stock and then 800 hp after the race exhaust & tune.

  2. Haven't seen the film yet, but not very interested in it after "The Last Jedi." Also to me, Han Solo is Harrison Ford and that's that. IMO, the reason Star Wars has gone into the crapper, at least with "The Last Jedi," is the political agenda of the people heading the franchise. I thought "The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One" were great however. I don't know if it is legitimate franchise fatigue, or fan backlash over "The Last Jedi," that sank Solo.

I would somewhat disagree that Disney is "playing it safe" with the new Star Wars movies. I was rather shocked for example by the planet destruction scene in "The Force Awakens," when the First Order destroys those Republic planets. To me, that was a very violent scene, like the Star Wars equivalent of watching people get nuked. I remember in the theater thinking to myself, "Wow, this is almost a little too violent for Star Wars..."

Don't hold the sins of the Last Jedi against this one...it's a better good space western. The Last Jedi was...something else entirely...

  3. The strip clubs are a waste of time , money grab . NFL and NBA players have ruined it for everyone . The girls will tray and take you upstairs to VIP and uncork $2000 bottles of champagne and in no time you are in hole $20k with very little action

You seem to be speaking from experience...is there a story there?

  4. Been thinking about getting into my first exotic for the last few years but have yet to pull the trigger.. There isnt many local places with this quality of cars near me so i havent had a chance to do any test driving only online shopping. Can anybody with personal experience give me your opinion on which car youve enjoyed more? performance, issues, maintenance etc

    What year R8 are you talking? V8 vs V10 or R8 V10 vs V10?

  5. :iamwithstupid: Holy morons, Batman. Unbearable in her inability to connect listening with thinking. I almost feel sorry for her to have engaged with him...so intellectually and academically outclassed.

She simply shined her ass looking for such simple answers to complex problems at every turn. She simply didn't have the brain bytes to follow anything he was saying or understand how such an academic or clinician could possibly arrive at an educated opinion not rooted in sensational emotion. So typical of personalities attracted to journalism, perfectly willing to believe the next headline as gospel or the next vague statistic and fight harder to be right than for the right answer. The interview was like simultaneously reading a scientific journal and the National Enquirer side by side.

:iamwithstupid: I felt bad for him because he has to deal with this daily in the world of academia.

Outclassed is the word, she was in over her head, I felt sorry for her at a certain point in the interview. The guy is a weapon, he could recall exactly word for word things which he said in reply to her arguments, when and how he phrased them I wouldn’t like to have to argue with him LOL

    :iamwithstupid:

I have been a fan of Jordan Peterson for a quite some time. He says what common sense and logic say. But people are so lost on tribalism and unrealistic ethoses that these truths sting to them like an angry bee.

:iamwithstupid: So what you're saying is... :icon_mrgreen:

  6. That depends. Like Ace said, for enough $$$, possible but the factory also has to ensure that it meets DOT/Transport Canada regulations. Case in point, the Veneno was delivered with different side mirrors. What the owner wants to do afterward is his business as far as legality is concerned.

Right. As with one Veneno owner...the facotry original mirrors that aren't US road legal where shipped to him anyways, in case if may or may not stall them after the car was delivered...

  7. Every “so what your saying is” was a shoot to put words in his mouth. She had nothing to say after a while towards the end. Thanks for sharing.

So what you're saying is all interviewers have nothing to say and just try to put words in everyone's mouth??? :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

  8. Thank you for posting that, I really enjoyed listening to him but that woman was unbearable LOL

    So what you're saying is...that all women are unbearable? :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: That's totally something she'd say.

I've know of him for a while, I really like him a lot. I don't 100% agree with everything he says, but a lot of it I do agree with. I think he's also spot on with a lot of his critique of the left and the uber-liberal world of academia, and he's actually a voice for free thought and speech.

  9. I love Deadpool, but I can't take a 10yo to see it. Infinity War had some serious weak areas and I think that it was a sign that we've reached peak Marvel. I'm sure the next few Marvel flicks will still be entertaining, but fatigue is a good word to describe what is setting in now. Disney is a machine rather than a cathedral of creativity, so we'd best recalibrate our expectations for what they produce. Star Wars is too far gone, still profitable, but no longer a self-sustaining fire of inspiration among children which says a lot. But Deadpool is a great example of what can be done if audiences demand it.

The problem is movie studios are all run by investment firms...Even Disney is in investment mode. Creativity is risk. Familiarity is safe. So they are going to go the safe route that high probability of making a return on their investment.

  10. Taking the family on vacation for 6 days to Vegas the end of June. First time going.....was looking for any recommendations from my Lambopower brothers...….shows, dining, attractions, must sees...ect… I have a 17yo girl and 21 yo son plus the wifey. Thanks in advance.

Vegas isn't ideal for a family trip, but I'd suggest you check out the Forum shops at Caesar's, if there's a big name performer you like checkout a show, or catch a cirque du soleil show. There's a lot of great restaurants there as well.

6 days is way too long to spend in Vegas (you're going to discover that really quick) so I'd suggest making a trip out to the Grand Canyon for a day or two. It's insanely gorgeous and there's some cool stuff to checkout and experience there.
