Inphinity Report post Posted May 2, 2007 Thinking of picking myself up an R32 GTR If you haven't make sure you drive one before you decide. I'm not such a fan of older cars, and the R32 just feels really dated to me. They're an 18 year old model now, and it really feels it. That said, they can still be made stupidly fast because that engine is just invincible.

Its a fun car to drive. I also test drove an RX7 yesterday, the damn thing is so tiny, but fun

bashir26 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Tried the R34 GTR, or S15 SpecR? both cars are amazing....but illegal in Canada lol. R33 GTR should be available in two years though, but I don't like it as much as an R32/R33. I love the RX7 but i cant fit in it, and im seriously not fat 6'0 170lbs

The R33 GTR imo is not as good a track car / racer as the R32, but is an awesome cruiser. It's heavier, so a bit slower off the line etc, but just a really nice GT imo. You really can't get even S15's up there??

I like cars that are good for road use and track. To bad we have this 15 year rule thing. Actually I'm hearing there changing it to 25 year import rule. Canada is killing me

That would absolutely suck, though I guess it would help resale values a little maybe.

You can import anything 1 year or older from the United States. You can make a couple grand if you import straight from Japan. If you buy an imported Japanese car in Canada your just paying extra. So yeah you can make money from it, but mostly if you import directly other than buying an already imported car. Hope that makes sense.
