Unless I'm totally missing something it seems you would need to remove the actuators and associated hydraulics; then have the shifter & linkage installed. Again not having any diagrams as a reference I don't see why it would be a difficult swap. Now getting the dashboard to sync with the shifter might be a PITA. I don't know anything at all about how the system works, but I would think converting to a manual would be easier then going the other way and trying to convert to e-gear.
