dallas Report post Posted July 21, 2010 I rolled up my drivers side window with the door up on my 92 Diablo and now the window won't roll up straight. I guess that is a no no. 12097 Report post Posted July 23, 2010 It sounds like the window regulator has "bitten the dust". You can get a replacement regulator from the dealer or call Evans Automotive. A buddy of mine had the same problem and they had one in stock. To the best of my knowledge the door panel does have to be removed. A word of caution. ab Report post Posted July 27, 2010 most likely the worm gear and the tab that holds the window in place broke off. The motor doesn't seem to be an item that breaks, it's the worm type screw.
