Clutch reset

Was a a Lambo test day had a long chat with a senior tech about all things aventador, some very interesting stuff.

Something that may be useful to people here though is that if you sit with your foot on the foot brake for 30-40 seconds you will see the rev counter needle flicker up and down, this resets the clutch engage point for the car at that moment and for any wear that has occured, etc.

Good thing to do every so often.

Topjay!

Can you tell me more about what this does to clutch wear?

As I understand it, this does change engage point adjusted accordingly to clutch wear so that gear change feels just like when clutch is new?

If so, does this actually make clutch wear faster for making changes tighter or does this make clutch wear slower?
