aranciotoro Report post Posted October 30, 2012 any feedback on after market wheels and tires on superleggeras and the effect on the differential fluid triggering the 4wd sign on the dashboard?
gianca Report post Posted October 30, 2012 There should be a ratio of 3% difference in between the front and rear diameter. Only a few tire manufacturers make such ratios; if you try to to the math converting the size diameter not always comes up with the excact number so you are much better off looking up the manufactor specs. Front common sizes: 235/35/19 235/30/20 245/30/20 Rear common sizes: 315/25/20 325/25/20 Again, make sure that the rear diameter is 103% of the front. Good luck! Turbo50Mike Report post Posted October 30, 2012 I've run 3 different rims/tire combos on my G, and had no issues. Stock pirellis. PSII's on HRE's (19/19). And Conti SCIII's on Makevilis (These were a 19/20 combo). All worked fine.
cake Report post Posted October 30, 2012 A few weeks ago I received quite an education on the viscous coupler (from the head tech guy at Lambo) - and it sounds like you are experiencing what he warned us about. Here is the thread I started with the question about changing tires: http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...n+changing+tire I'd say the topic is pretty well covered with opinions and facts coming from various perspectives. Gallardo_Stealth Report post Posted October 31, 2012 Try to stick with 19 Front, 20 Front will scratch fender 99% from slightly to unacceptable. For 20 Front, Pirelli and Michellin only.
