jheyden Report post Posted May 28, 2015 Just picked up a new 2015 LP700-4 Coupe and have a couple questions. 1) people that performed the valve disconnect did you get a CEL after a period of time? 2)What do people recommend to be able to clear read CEL/service reminder light? Heard of VAS/Rosso-tech but do those work? Any other recommendations? Source to purchase? 3)I'd like to winch my car into an enclosed trailer for transport so need to remove the front right bumper cover to install the tow hook. Any tips to remove the cover without damaging it? Thanks

Any tips to remove the cover without damaging it? Thanks 1) Plug the vacuum lines after you pull them and you should not get a CEL 2) Honestly a cheap Craftsman code reader should be able to read and clear generic codes 3) I can't help with that one! Sal Report post Posted May 29, 2015 Lamborghini makes a special tool kit to remove the grills without damaging the fragile locking tabs. Part number for the tool is #69195290. Unfortunately, it cost approx $350.00. You can order it from Lambo Stuff. CAPRISTO EXHAUST USA makes a remote control unit for the stock valve exhaust which is a really simple Plug and Play install. No CEL light. Cost approx $750.00 also works on the Huracan. http://www.capristoexhaust.com/lamborghini...bo-plugs-detail Hope this helps. Sal Report post Posted May 29, 2015 Here is the info for the Ross-Tech Scanner.. If you tell them it is for the Lambo Aventador, they might tell you it doesn't work for that application. Ignore them it does work.. You need to get The Ross-Tech Hex-Can USB interface.. I bought mine from Europaparts. http://www.europaparts.com/vag-com-diagnos...-ross-tech.html Cost approx $349.00 Works great and has many features, like raising the rear wing for bumper removal.. Scotty Report post Posted May 29, 2015 To remove the left front grill to get at your towhook, I just fashioned a small hook out of a piece of coathanger and I use a small screwdriver to pry up the edge. I actually plastidipped A screwdriver as to not scratch my paint. Using this screwdriver to lift the bottom edge of the grill, insert the hook and give it a slight tug. It should pop right out.
