  1. The coolant was flushed about a year ago... There are no leaks, and the level has not dropped... The thermostat is probably at least 5 old - I have owned the car since 2012 and never changed it ... Not sure when it was done before, but the car has 29k miles on it now
  2. Hi Guys I did a drive this morning while having my computer hooked into the OBDII port to look at some live data. I saw the following, and was hoping if someone knew how to improve them: 1) MAF - shows 0 lb/min continuous, no movement while at idle or while driving - is that normal? or maybe sensor issue? NO CEL 2) Intake air temp: My intake temp started at 95 (ambient temp), and slowly increased upto 120 (that's the highest my OBDII software gauge shows) - this has me worried. I have the stock 6.0 air intake system - is there any way to improve it to get colder air? 3) Coolant temp: goes upto 200-205 in traffic/stop lights, and then back down to 195-196 while driving - is the car running too hot? I have SV headers on my 6.0, along with 100CEL high flow cats and a Fabspeed X pipe - the sound is amazing, but the naked headers (no shielding around them) make a lot of heat. So much infact that the body is too hot to even touch (on the outside, all along the sides, rear panels, and engine top)... Suggestions are welcome Thanks
  3. Please do let us know when the wing is ready... I'd like to get one
  4. Hello Everyone I am trying to figure out if it is possible to update/change the OEM Nav system on my friends A.. He imported a US spec car with the OEM nav (US maps). He wants to be able to use it in Dubai. Is it at all possible? The dealer has said they can not / will not do it. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Once again, thank you! Yes - 200CEL sounds SWEET!!! I changed mine from ALL OEM (header-cats-muffler box) to SV headers (Euro) + 200CEL cats + Fabspeed X pipe...
  6. Hey Guys I recently had 200CEL high flow cats installed on my Diablo 6.0... These were custom fitted... The exhaust guys installed the pre O2 before, and post O2 after the cat... However, they don't know where to put the thermocouple temperature sensor - We threw away the old cats, and cannot use those as a point of reference... so can someone please shed some light on this... Do they go 1) before the cat / near the primary O2? 2) Right before cat (as in almost touching the begining part of the mesh) 3) Middle of the cat 4) After the cat / near the secondary O2? Any/all advise apprecaited... I would have just tied up the sensors and put them to the side (similar to the straight pipes setup), but since I have put in new cats, I figured I should keep the sensor in as the right position as possible to make sure the new cats aren't overheating, etc... Thanks
  7. I like!! Im looking to upgrade my all OEM/stock exhaust, and find this to be very interesting... Can I get some details on where/how to buy this setup? Thanks!
  8. Fans will come on at idle? Sorry to sound like such a newbie... Also regarding left vs right fan - I was told one of the fans is for the AC, and the other for the Radiator - is that true/false?
  9. Thanks for the tips guys... will look into the fan next time I take her out for a drive (currently out of country on a trip).. Does the make make an audible noise that can be heard while driving? Or is it something I will need to check when stopped? Also - which fan - drivers side, or pax side? Thanks!!
  10. Thanks for the reply. In this instance, the light did not come at all (not once). The pic is at the end of a 30 min drive, during which there was no Engine Light, and the scanner said there are no pending codes/fault codes at all.. Also - is the coolant temp a point of concern? Or the intake temp (since the outside temp is only 40, shouldn't the intake be the same, or is it 'normal' for the intake temp to be higher (60 in this case) than the outside air temp)? Thanks!!
  11. Hello everyone I've been driving the Diablo a bit, and have had the following issues come up: 1) L Engine Light - comes on at stops/low speeds, blinks while accelerating, and goes away at higher speeds... comes back/blinks at lower speeds, etc I tried to get the codes with a scanner, but the light DID NOT come on the two times I drove with a scanner (and charged laptop)... the other 3-4 times, it has done the above, but I have been unable to pull codes as the laptop has had a dead battery!! 2) Coolant temp running hot - car shows 95+, OBDII scanner shows 205F (98C-102C) while driving!! Intake air temp sensor shows - 55C-60C Actual outside temp during this drive - 39C Other info noticed in drive (during issue #2) Engine timing advanced 15-20 under normal accelerating/cruising Can anyone point out if I need to be concerned about the car running hot? Should the intake temp be that high (60) when the outside temp is only 39? The coolant temp is also 100 (205F) - is that a cause of concern? Can anyone explain what the Fuel Trim figures (short term/long term for Bank 1/2) are?
  12. A picture is always worth a thousand words.... Thanks to everyone for their input... I will be at the port in a little over 12 hours to figure this out... and will keep you posted
  13. Wish I could do that... the problem is the container is at the port, and the car needs to be removed, started, driven to inspection, inspected, started again, sent by recovery ... The port will not allow me to remove tire/replace battery on site - are the ECU's really that sensitive?
  14. What are my options? I need to get the car removed from the container before I can access the battery... suggestions?
  15. Hey Guys Which would be a better way to jump start a Diablo? 1) Jump start of battery in donor car (with Donor car on/off?) 2) Jump start of new battery (take an extra battery with me, and attach with jump start cables to Diablo) The Diablo CANNOT be 1)trickle charged 2)battery replaced in its current situation... It is parked in a shipping container, and needs to be unloaded...
