Title report companies online

Anyone have an online company they recommend for title reports? Only one I found is pro title USA. Any experiences with them?

 

Want to see if a property has any current liens against it. Looks like there is a lien recorded against the deed in 1993 when I looked up the property in the recorders office, but IDK if the lien has been cleared yet. Deed to house was also recorded as grant deed going into trust in 2000.

 

QQ, if the lien was paid off by the property owner, wouldn't the bank record with the county as the lien being removed? I know its not a requirement, but maybe?

I've used Chicago title in the past (they are pretty much all anyone in SoCal uses from what i've seen).

 

Clouds on the title aren't uncommon, especially one that's 25 years old and the property hasn't changed hands recently. Should be easy to get it cleaned up.
