Urus reviews

Just finished this years Lambo tour in Tuscany, sitting in a hotel in Rome pleased that I’m still alive and no damage to any cars in our group.

Good times, but the interesting thing was the Urus’s of which I had no interest in previously, they are amazing, like unbelievable. Still a bit of a pig to look at but only real weakness is the weight and therefore the brakes, one pretty much caught fire at one point chasing it down a mountain.

Anyway they handle better than an LP570 which was the benchmark, faster round the track at least, we were struggling to keep up at times with a pack of SV’s. Just amazing handling, got to a bit of motorway a couple of times and it took up to 180 to catch and pass them, most of the turbo stuff seems to run out of steam at about 130 these don’t just still pulling hard.

Everyone now impressed but trying to factor how much they will lose and if you want something like that as a normal car. It’s as fast as a Lamborghini it doesn’t really look like one which is the killer.

Performante also amazing to drive, several people brought both performante and SV over with them, P undoubtedly better to drive but people i talked to seemed to defer to SV’s and did more days in them as the were more interesting and a challenge to drive. Horses for courses I guess.
