I have to agree. It works very well. Team Salamone will be drooling over all that gold....hah
I actually thought it was his at first glance. Looks really good.

Bought a SLR from them a few years back, sight unseen. Clean car and smooth transaction. No complaints.

I agree. Would definitely go with the '09 VI.

Wow very nice, who made them?
PM sent.
Those look really nice! Get us a shop update soonThx. Will do.

Stopped by Lambo of Dallas today and spoke with John Hrad. He told me that it's a 1-owner car. Clutch life remaining is @ 50%. The front bumper underside has been resprayed. Driver side mirror housing is a little loose. Clear bra on the front. Tires have good treads.
Not sure about the date. Forgot to check. Otherwise, real clean car, inside and out. Wasn't able to start the engine, though. Hope this helps. Good luck!

As well as this VI one in Dallas

Anyone know the history on these cars or can stop by for an in person inspection would be appreciated.
Might be able to do this one this weekend. Will let you know as early as Friday if possible.

This sounds different than the typical e-gear failures. Normally the issue is with the actuator or the accumulator, this almost sounds like it's more related to the clutch. The stalling you initially got is not normal.
I think actuator problems normally throw e-gear light and accumulator problems at least start gradually and does not result in 100% shift failure rate, at least not in my case and my friend's LP640 that currently has the same issue.
Thx Sprite. Hoping that's the case. Definitely do not want to have to replace either of those.
Silly question.....did you check the egear fluid reservoir to see if it was up to level?Haven't had the chance. Car is already in the shop.

Couldn't sleep so I was reading this...interesting idea here. Maybe check the front and rear hood/bonnet again by opening and closing them just in case.
Try putting the car on ignition only, will it let you go into gear forward or backwards?
Technically the car doesn't have to be on to move into 1st or, r, n. If this is the case then try to start it, I think it will go back to neutral but at least see if this part is functioning.
With just ignition only, still would not engage R or 1st.
have you checked for codes? Not yet.
i feel your pain-- i had a similar issue with my 430 and while its fixed now the stress of it acting up made me not drive it far from home even after it was fixed for fear it would leave me stranded.hence why i just got a manual murcie
Yep...definitely does not instill confidence for long distance driving. Makes me miss my STS even more now. Absolutely zero problems with that car.

Try getting a new battery.
Battery is fairly new. Voltage always hold steady at 13.4 Car starts up every time and idles perfectly.
If you hold the right paddle will it stay in first gear? Mine had an issue with the bonnet closed switch that created the same symptoms as you are describing. It won't even go into 1st. Made sure bonnet was closed. No warning lights came up on the dash.
Haha....I just had this issue!I had a problem where the egear would start upshifting by itself. It then went to it would only engage reverse and not first and paddles would not put it back to neutral. Only if you turned off the engine would it go back to neutral but would only engage reverse.
I had it towed to the shop and the computer showed upshift paddle error. Meaning as if the paddle was held too long...but I never did that. A few minutes to clear the code and I told the shop to test drive it for 2 weeks. This because of a total egear system harness pull and replace all the modules taking 6 months. Anyways, the computer error clear did the job.
I just picked up the car Friday and have put 280 miles on it this weekend....no problem so far.
Mine would even get out of neutral. Hope it's just as simple as clearing a code. Fingers crossed. Glad to hear your's is doing fine though.

Can you hear the hydraulic pump run when you open the door?
Yes.

Story of my life. Swore I would never buy another e-gear again, but had to pick up Nick's LP640 that was listed in the classifieds. 2nd time driving the car, after a hard pull, the gear went to N and would not shift to R or 1. Turned off ignition & restart. This time however, R still doesn't engage but upshifting from N would shut off the engine. Tried restarting a few times and same thing happens every time, engine shuts off. No error lights on the dash. Battery reading 13.4V
Nick has been helpful trying to diagnose. Car has a new kevlar clutch. Hope it's not an engine out like my previous Murci. That would suck.
Any thoughts or suggestion? Thx!

Very nice addition. Congrats!

Had to choose two:
1. Sesto = most "normal looking" but still exotic
2. Aventador J = chopped windshield is so sleek looking; nice overall design

Love it. Congrats!

I love your GT!
Thanks Allan. Same goes for your Diablo
Can I ask what the story is behind your GT? It looks incredible from the photo! Thanks for the kind words. Here are some more recent pics...
Thanks for taking me down memory lane. Can't believe that was 10 years ago.

Thanks for all the replies, will be posting pics soon!
Any other votes? I will be bringing this new bull to Monterey.. cannot wait!
I think I recall you having a red Diablo before, so I'm gonna go with the Jalpa too.

I actually would like to see some pics. Build whatever makes you happy. I did.

Faster but still ugly. Performante just keeps on looking better and better.

Speed isn't everything, it has to appeal to a lot of your other senses and unfortunately when you let a bunch of dentists build a car you end up with something like the 720S.
No offense to any dentists out there but then again you ALWAYS hurt me when I come in so I won't take it back
Maybe because you haven't found the right dentist. Kidding and no offense taken. Trust me, if I was part of the design team, those headlights wouldn't be anywhere near any of the cars. I was really hoping Mclaren would knock it out of the ball park with the 720, but they came up a little short on the nose.

Damn...that looks nice and sinister with that kit. Good luck with the search. Hopefully it ends here

That was intoxicating. Would love one in purple.

Daddy must really love you.
Hope that makes you feel more manly. You're just an insecure little prick.
Saiy, ignore these haters and keep on enjoying your SVR. Congrats!

Congrats! In for pics.
The technocraft are awesome. They have a very light tint...just enough so that they don't draw so much attention as pure clear.
Got them for my new G for that reason.
Thx Ryan! I trust your taste. Technocraft it is.
Didn't realize you picked up a new G. Congrats too bud! You're long overdue for pics. Would love to see it.
Are you coming out this Sat for the Houston drive?
What makes 698HP to the wheels and weighs ~3,200 pounds?
