I have a Nero nemesis , and the paint is not bad to maintain. I just have the entire front in xpel and have not found it difficult to care for the back. I use a matte detail spray. I have never washed the car but also have a matte soap if I wanted to.

I do not have the capristo exhaust, just the test pipes, so not sure if it would work with another exhaust system. After much researching and talking to people, I am thinking I will not have an issue with the check engine light if I install the test pipes. From the mechanics who have put many of these one, they said they never have an issue with the test pipes on an aventador. So I think i'm going to try it. I had the software upgrade on before with test pipes and no CEL, so now it does not have the software upgrade and I'm anxious to see what happens.

There has to be someone here with some knowledge on the exhaust software or test pipes and CEL's in general.

I recently had test pipes put on and it did not run any fault codes or CELs. That was when I had the exhaust sound upgraded software on the car. When I went to smog it, it did not pass smog. So I took off the test pipes and found that it still did not pass because the monitors were not in ready mode. It was not until we remove the sound exhaust software and flash the factory software back to stock that the monitors then went to ready mode. Now that I have the stock software, I am wondering if I put back the capristo test pipes, if its going to run a CEL. Does anyone know if the sound exhaust software effected or bypassed the CEL? Any help would be appreciated.

Any issues with emissions or car not passing smog with test pipes and exhaust set up? Monitors on my car are not running. Could this be connected to the test pipes? No CEL, have not disconnected battery and I drive it once every other week or so.

Having an issue with passing smog right now. No CEL, but monitors are not running right now. Trying to figure out a work around or if the decat caused this.

I have a 2013 aventador. I have aftermarket exhaust Larini and capristo test pipes. I have never had a check engine light. Failed smog today because the monitors were not running. Any help would be appreciated. Could the test pipes cause all the monitors to not run? I haven't disconnected the battery before and I have driven plenty of miles on it since I purchased it. The Catalyst , secondary air system, Evaporative system, and oxygen Sensor OBDII monitors are not ready.
