  1. Hey, Anyone knows what is the part number for transmission mount of a 2004 Manual Murcielago? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for getting back to me Jon! I know what you meant, no worries budd. I appreciate the detailed answer to my question too! You're absolutely right, I had an F360 with busted mounts and it used to "knock" off the gas. I'll pay my mechanic a visit tomorrow for further inspection. -Moe
  3. Maybe it's a -Leak/hole in a fuel vapor hose. -Leak in EVAP system. -Vaccum leak.
  4. Thanks a lot for the replies guys. Yeah I know about the vibrations, steering wheel shakes a little bit. I'm going to change both motor and tranny mounts anyway soon as my only concern was performance. I don't have any mis-fires, engine moving all over the place etc.. YET! Thanks again!
  5. Does any one knows if a slightly damaged motor/transmission mount affect engine's performance? I'm asking this because I'm getting different answers. Thanks!
  6. Congrats! Glad all is fixed Shunolago..
  7. Congratulations! What's up with the TB air filters anyway? I kinda like them
  8. I have a damaged motor mount and I was wondering if changing it would require engine removal?
  9. Thanks for the kind words budd! Stay safe and good luck to you. Keep us posted..
  10. Great. Think about going catless too! I read somewhere it's a $3000 per cat!! Going catless will give you a slight power and a little louder exhaust note since you have a stock exhaust
  11. I just called the dealer's mechanic regarding your problem, his words: "It's got a misfire, thats what makes a cat glow hot, a glowing hot cat makes a pretty big restriction which can cause only a certain amount of exhaust to pass through, essentially backing up flow, when you back up flow it will limit the amount of RPM you can turn and you'll feel a very poor performance.. Sounds like a spark issue, so tell him to pull his plugs, check for spark... and look for signs of carbon tracking on his coil housing.. He likely needs a new set of coils and maybe a new plugs too since he might fouled them" P.S.: I told him you have a new set of spark plugs.
  12. I wouldn't swap anything yet. You gotta drop the car to a professional mechanic, don't run it anymore.. See what he'd say about the issue. Like I said on my 1st reply, Check your cats if they're glowing/turning red then that's another problem.. Forget about the Thermocouple and search for a respected Lamborghini Mechanic. You have to find why raw fuel is going through the engine. Now if you continue to use the car catalyst can get hot enough to melt. When I had the same symptoms as you (Minus the glowing cats) I had th CEL comes and goes same as you, car has no power also same and I had tons of raw fuel coming out of my exhaust splashing all over the place! Dealer took 15 minutes to solve the problem by changing 3 bad O2's and the Thermocouple, I told them what's up with the raw fuel? The tech told me that my car was running WAY rich. Find a nearby dealer/mechanic and let us know.. Best of luck!
  13. Yes that's the part. Talk to Glen, he'll get you a good deal on the Thermocouple.. I got mine from him. His E-mail is : [email protected] I wouldn't use the car until this problem is fixed though!
  14. Oh my.. Are these your cats glowing? Hell, don't use the car!!
