dang teasers.... off the wall comment but I sure hope it has towing capacity. I pull my H Spyder with the CTS and it's a great combo. Would love to be able to pull it with the Urus.

Hey, they're a dime a dozen in Manhattan...
  3. dude, you need to take a chill pill. your obsession with me is al franken (creepy since you're too stupid to figure that out). Now move along boy and go play with your hot wheels.
  4. yeah he does seem a bit anal. Keep posting your thoughts, don't allow him or anyone else deter you from doing so.
  5. Well it better run sixes or it's just a complete waste given UR has already set the mark of mid-7's without the Back to the Future mods. To top that off, UR has been toying around and when they're ready to get serious about the 1/4, watch out.
  6. oh something tells me all those items will remain, the only changes are those that can be viewed online. Why doesn't he fight for what he claimed in a FB PM to me for a logo he and his 14 year old son designed years ago? I call bull shit...
  7. But wait, as he told me in a FB PM, "My 14 yr old son and i designed this several years ago" I guess the 30+ sites he's referring are the ones you should be directing your question too.
  8. the douche bag replied the following. Supercars of Florida November 18 at 6:45pm "Greg appreciate the comments but your way off the page here i have been in contact directly with LCA and can 100% prove i did not "borrow/copy/steal" anything from anyone. Chose your words very carefully my friend when you dont have the facts. Perhaps i should post the orignal renderings along with the date? FYI-there are dozens of supercar/exotic car insta/youtube/web that have been using that crest for several years long before LCA" My response to him: "You are SO wrong. Why not jump on the following thread and explain yourself? http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...=81780..." - He removed this post. He just sent me a PM on FB under his own name claiming he and his 14 year old son designed the logo several years ago... "Greg, I had no intention of borrowing anything from anoyone and as you can clearly see drive a lambo myself. You comments are less than accurate. I sent an open letter to LCA along with the origins of my logo which is no secret. If they see a problem we will discuss it, fussing over something that has no commercial value is not worth anyone's time. I can prove beyond any reasonable doubt i did not borrow/copy or steal anything. My 14 yr old son and i designed this several years ago, the crest and color are very common and hardly "unique" further we are using a porsche font hardly inline with something that lays claim to exclsuvely lamborghini. Cleary the LCA graphic artist would have known this?" Mods, can I link his FB profile on here? Andrew, I'll email you the link to his profile.
  9. or perhaps they're so obsessed with beating UR they have to "Back to the Future" mod such a great looking car. Those rivets attaching the "wing"... ouch!
  10. I've been replying to his posts with the following: "Hey look! He's using the Lamborghini Club of America's logo! What a douche bag! https://serataitaliana.com/" Obviously he will remove them and block me but perhaps if enough people post about his crap he'll go poo poo in his pants.
  11. Reminds me of my old car stereo competition days. Cars would show up all tricked out, looking mean yet when it came time to crank it up, they faltered.
  12. Not me. I was merely stating conversations with the "professional" drivers and their views and suggested that perhaps headquarters shared those same views which is why they're sticking with the NA engines. Perhaps they feel the turbo's aren't necessary to achieve the goals of the brand. Personally I'd love to see the cars equipped with turbo's as for most owners such as us who are in the mood to play around with other cars are doing so on straight runs, not drives through countrysides to see who can get from Point A to Point B first.
  13. Having attended a few Lambo driving acadamy's and speaking with their Italian drivers, they ridicule straight line racing, says there's nothing challenging about it, that they prefer to race around turns, etc. Probably the same mindset at headquarters which is why they're keeping NA engines, not slapping turbo's on them.

Range Rover? What makes them so special? Depreciation? Name a production car that doesn't depreciate once you roll it off the lot. Of all the RR's I have had in the past and never kept for more than three years, those suckers depreciated up to 50% or more during that time period. People who can't afford the CTS, the Bentayga or the Urus will go with the cheaper RR and attempt to justify their purchase. Sadly I am a former owner of many RR's but finally saw the light that the car is nothing but a boat on wheels which are now a dime a dozen on the road.

I'll more than likely trade it in when I take delivery of the Bentayga.

I spec'd mine out and it took about 4 months for delivery. I agree, it's tough to tell the difference if you don't know what you're looking for, however the CTS has yellow calipers while the GTS has red. Mine is all blacked out and even the grills are painted black which in my opinion enhances the front. As I have said before, I have always had Range Rover's SC since 2006 and the CTS is better performing, better ride/comfort, just better everything. I'm looking forward to the Bentayga Black Edition though I am most certain that purchase will be short lived and replaced by the Urus.
  17. that's an expensive paper weight...
  18. so what are you saying, the 5k HP thread may have some validity?

That's my concern, not wanting it to be tool small that it loses its SUV appeal.

I never drove the Macan and not to insult the guys out here but it's more of a girlie vehicle. My Cayenne Turbo S optioned out to around $189K - There are stretches out here in West Texas where I cruise 140, my top being 165. I've had many RR's in the past, my last being a 13 SC and anything over 120 was very soft and unstable. That being said, the CTS is a freaking blast. Last year I made a couple fun runs at TI (Texas Invitational) and hit 129 something. My stock Huracan Spyder 610-4 hit 137.2 if that tells you anything.

I ordered a Bentayga Black Edition, looking at a January delivery date but I may not take delivery. It's a much softer ride than the Cayenne which has me skeptical. Hoping to drive a Urus before the BBE arrives and it proves to be a good daily.

I'm telling you, if you don't get the Urus, look at the C Turbo S. If you've never driven one, night and day.
