URG orange car #5000 just ran 238.xxx PROPS!
couple cars later a GT500 was on fire from the 1/2 mile marker through the mile marker. My guy got photos.

I'd like to add congratulations to JoeDirt for absolutely running the shit out of his car over the last 3 days. Even with the oppressive heat on thursday, to be running north of 215 on a car being hotlapped is awesome.
I truly appreciate the kind words DBK. Coming from your mouth means lot to me. Thank you.
And I can confirm that I have done ZERO changes to my car (except for putting R6's on the rear) and it has run flawlessly.

I am having a another event in Miami in either January or February with plenty of coverage from many different publications, stay tuned for more information at www.exoticsrally.com
Email announcement will be going out in November. Dupont Registry will be running an ad for the event as well, currently in the design process. It will be killer, so everyone should get their cars tuned in during the next few months.
We will have:
7am - 8am Registration & Catered Breakfast
8am - 12pm Top speed full length runs
12pm - 1pm Catered Lunch (Snacks throughout the day)
1pm - 3pm 1 Mile Runs
3pm - 6pm Racing
what is going to be used to measure the speeds?

runs have been stopped for about a hour. A car went off the end of the track.
SW's TT/G won his roll on race and is in perfect shape.
I have not seen a black GT here (Peak's GT).

we started the 2 up racing. I won my first race.
More to come when I find out
orange URG car hit 22X mph earlier (might have been low 230, can't remember).
I will get a printout from the Mile people of the runs.

A bike ran a 24X.00. I think it was 243 or 246.

my first run was a 223.140. This was exactly the number I had to make to beat a fellow GT owner from the last event. Mission accomplished.
wind has started with a 5-7mph crosswind.

runs start in a hour. As long as the dew is dried off the surface the big number runs will happen early, I'm betting.

weather update from the track at 5:40am.
10 degrees cooler than yesterday, almost no wind (yay!) and the humidity is lower than yesterday.

talked with one of the porsche guys and they think a wheel well liner came off and did something to move the car around. They also think it could have been a wind gust as well. We are having 15 mph crosswinds. My GT is moving around juuuuuuust a little compared to when we had tail winds in March.

my camera crew went to the hotel (I'm trackside in my RV). will see if they can upload a few.

we have a video of a 221 mph run of my GT with a camera attached on the outside of my car. It's set inside my passenger air scoop. Probably take a couple of days to get it online, the internet speed (cell reception) is VERY slow at the track.
