How much heavier is it?
About 220+ pounds (100+kg) more than the Performante Coupe.
-
Guess this applies?
... subtract 100HP for the ones you buy... -
Launch color is "BLU AEGEUS".
Configure yours now, until Lambocars cooks up a better configurator for it:
-
Promo video is great indeed.
-
^Also at Geneva:
-
In terms of "new stuff", only Performante Spyder at Geneva.
-
press cars get the 721HP, subtract 100HP for the ones you buy...
I beat the 790HP 812 super fast so bad in my 720S they asked me not to post the video...
Doesn`t surprise me at all. I once posted a video here of the Aventador S vs 812, and the S whooped 812`s ass on a long runway having 730 HP. For a car that has nearly 800 HP one would expect more.

I’ve heard rumors that Lambo will take the new SV J to the ring, I guess we will just have to wait and see.
This. Let`s say there is a friendly competition between the two VAG brands.
-
Phase 1 prototypes. They already have a Jota, unless they name it SVJ or something along those lines. The "GT" moniker would fit, but I think they will shy away from it due to many other major brands using it for their cars.
The car you are seeing here is quite far away though.
Seems it was the latter.

Prices are holding up well.
I`m surprised by SV prices.
-
Just passing by the word, they are testing LT version of the 720S already.
-
Speaking of special editions, I don`t think they will have time for some repaint Aventadors unless it is something similar to Pirelli or Japan Editions that require minimal effort from their R/D. They are busy with other stuff far more important for their future.
Remember that there were no special edition of Murcielago that came out after the Murcielago SV.
Also this might be the last N/A V12 Lamborghini ever. The replacement might be hybrid. Emphasis on the word "might" as in not 100% confirmed.

Ringbrothers did it better:
Both modern and classic design in one.
Best of all no Huracan died.
-
Saw that recently, great showcase!
-
Still looks like shit no matter what spec they bring.
-
Or anytime before frankfurt motorshow something might come ? Okay, who knows. To milk everything they can on the V10 huracan series.
Frankfurt isn`t this year, instead Paris is this year. From what I heard, and from what has been told to media by themselves: Huracan will live on until 2022. No hybrid before that.
Therefore Coupe, Spyder and RWD Facelifts are all possible until then with a final STS/SQ version to top Huracan range off.
I have a timeline in my head, but I don`t want to derail this thread with it, so keep the discussion going around appreciation/depreciation of the Performante.

Tell me of another modern supercar that looks better than this:
-
Also from Norway, possibly testing a hybrid version (since there was a normal one too there)
-
One without spoiler spotted in Norway, I think it is an early mule for the facelift coming after a certain Aventador.
-
Try to get a 488 Special and tell us that
Not hard at all Just this (and a lot of ass kissing):
-
Paris Motor Show is every other year, that means there is one this year. I think we will see it this fall, they can`t skip Paris since it is kind of a big deal for them.
Worst case they will show it at 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
-
No hexagonal tail pipes no care...
Too bad it wasn`t developed with NASA.
-
One more that I found for LP:
-
They didn't even look at the other contenders

It`s the same soft top from the regular H Spyder with the same mechanism.
All this weight could have been avoided with a hard top (like Ferrari and McLaren ones), but noooo Audi overlords and their R8 kept it from happening.
