  1. Huracan is grabbing shifts like a boss. Congrats on the overall win at the event UR and also to Awesome for getting in the next lane and putting on a great race.
  2. Quick clip to get us spooled up for October! Turn up the volume. Video from Dale Zavala.
  3. Oufan has made it to the finals twice. When he makes it there again he will have some dope on top of an already fast platform. Bello has taken his platform and put it on a 996. As of last Sunday the car is mechanically done and they are buttoning up cosmetics. Gus from Lethal Performance has a powerglide equipped Plastic mess-06 and just ran a 8.1x at 184 in the quarter last weekend (mid boost with a 1.4x sixty) and its expected to be the fastest POS at TI ever. The list goes on and on with the other GTR, Viper, Lambro, and Porsche outfits. The field is strong and has a good mix from all platforms. That competition is what pushes the competing shops to innovate and develop new technology. Best example of that is UR. Compare Justin's TT Hurcan to SW's TTSL from mere 5 years ago and you will be shocked at what they have accomplished. So, I think you will see shops unveiling trick setups again. In the FB TSS Drivers Group (closed to non-drivers) there is a KOTS winners pot going. They got it up to $9k right now. The 175 Trap Attack has a similar pot going as well but the buy in isn't as steep. If the drivers make good on their buy in, that will ramp up the excitement more.
  4. Congratulations to Gidi (the only person in the world with more UR t-shirts than Mullet) and UR!
  5. Updated registration link: http://texasspeedsyndicate.com/ti-registration-form/
  6. It's been a long time since I have seen Dana's car (if its the VW Supra you are referring to) - so not sure what it looks like now. If he can meet tech, he can compete. He went to the event where Yoga Frank came in 2nd in the RWD class so he knows what its all about. There was a Lexan ban a few years ago when we had to curb people from building stripped out ultra-light vehicles from the ground up. That's why you see rules on the tech form excluding cars with exposed interior metal and the requirement for an OEM dash. From a safety perspective, while Lexan may be stronger I think it poses an extrication challenge when the shit hits the fan.
  7. There is no transmission ban at TI. It's smarter/safer to allow drivers to get a driveline that will hold power as opposed to breaking and oiling down a lane. There has been TH400 and PG equipped cars at every event. We have only had one PG car get their gearing right (LMR a few years ago) while most others run out of steam before the finish line.
  8. Can't to 200mph behind a keyboard. Get in the ring and rumble with the best of the best. Registration for the Fall 2015 Texas Invitational is now open. Formal promo is below and the registration link is here: http://texasspeedsyndicate.com/tiregistration/
  9. New video of the UR TI fleet. Aeriel shot of the UR cars is just plain sick. Got some interviews of the Howeth Bros in there as well. If you ever get to come out to an event make sure to meet these guys in person. Very down to earth and super cool to hang out with.
  10. 1320 just released their video of Justin's TT Huracan from the event. Here it is:
  11. Good story and recap of the event made it onto GTSpirit today. 70% of the top 10 indexed speeds were UR cars. Full story: http://www.gtspirit.com/2015/07/01/texas-i...test-supercars/ Some new photos are in there. Finally saw a shot of us blasting water off the track, Texas Surfing:
  12. Here is some more incentive for you to get ready. 1320 just released their photos. UR knows how to bring it. Full gallery: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1...2111&type=3
  13. In response to the inspection comments, note that there is not a uniform state inspection across all US states. Oklahoma for example does not impose a state inspection. Our tech form has a litany of questions that balance the line between "street" and "race cars" and acts an initial gatekeeper.
  14. Congratulations to Justin and UR for building an amazing car. Lambo owners are lucky to have a shop like UR pioneering this platform. To place that high as the Huracan did its first time out is outstanding.
  15. We missed you and your antics out there Mullet. New video released by ASS. Drone footage and vantage points are slick.
  16. UR has one of the best video teams that come out to the event and they always make videos of their customer's accomplishments. Here are some videos from 1320 and the T1 camp that were just released in the meantime.
  17. No lambo but this Viper is a monster. Video should tide us over until UR gets their videos done.
  18. New video released by NARA, one of the media crews at the event:
