  1. Interesting...I've never heard of the dealership that did the servicing, but that doesn't mean much. Anyone from around AZ care to chime in? Looks like the car had a bunch of issues prior to servicing, but one would assume its good to go now.... I wonder what their reserve is? I think $75-$85K should be accurate for that year/milage?
  2. Thanks for the offer Wiggs, but I don't think your truck can clear my condo's garage doors!! That's a beast! Exactly! I considered private sale, but the sales tax has to be taken into consideration, that's why I have the strong lean to doing a trade-in. Thanks for all the input guys, you've made me more optimistic about a dealer taking in one of my cars as a trade. For those who ask what I'm looking to trade in, I've been contemplating buying another toy for the summer (Gallardo Spyder, Ferrari, R8, something...) and then trading it in in October for an SUV (was considering a used BMW X6 or X6M, something nice but something I can also beat on a little bit..) So I'd be trading in to a BMW, Audi, or Mercedes dealership, most likely. Thanks!
  3. Hi guys, I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but would like some input from those who may have been through this process. Situation: None of my cars are practical for picking up more than 1 friend, or for winter weather. So I am contemplating getting a SUV. Ideally, I would want to trade one of my cars in for the SUV. My dilemma is that my cars far exceed the value of the SUV I want, so I pose this question: Are dealers inclined to add money to their car, in a trade for my car? Do they have thresholds? i.e.-They may not want to add $60K, but would they be inclined to add $10-$20K? (depending which car I wanted to trade them). Obviously they are out to make money, so if the trade was (somewhat) in their favor, would they then be inclined to add $50K+? Thanks for the help! Joe
  4. Love the car Rob! Especially the interior, love all the CF accents. Carbon ceramin brakes? Nice touch!! Send some of that nice weather to Pittsburgh....It's like 40 degrees today.
  5. Pictures havent been working. Can you re-host / re-post them?
  6. Good stuff! I live downtown, let me know when you guys hit the streets, I'll bring out my SL.
  7. Haha that was an LP thread I was reading... I knew someone would catch that.. Thanks! Haha...I couldn't resist! Thanks! I felt like this was more of a daily watch, which was what I was looking for. To me, it exudes a style that can be incorporated into everyday life, whether it be business or pleasure. The Safari came off as more of a niché watch that I don't think (at least in my case) could be worn the same way. It is a very handsome watch with more of an heir of sophistication to it. Keep in mind this is only my opinion. I dont think you can go wrong either way! Rob! Hey buddy! Very exciting...you have me wondering Cant wait to see it!
  8. Haha ok ok so maybe I overdid it? Thanks for the compliments guys
  9. Hey Fellas, This is my first AP...I took some photos before putting it to use. I am in love with it! A big thanks to Gil at The Watch Collector for the great buying experience. Sent the wire transfer in the a.m. and had this at my doorstep the next day. Thats how business should be done! Enjoy....
  10. Love the rims. I am looking at similar ones for my Bentley. Very nice..
  11. I tried to respond too. I read all 35 pages of that TATTOOSHOP "MY LAMBO BURNT" topic, HILARIOUS!!!!! I was dying.... thank you for this new section!!
  12. www.paintscratch.com they mixed me a gorgeous pearl coat. if you email them they are very responsive. they have most lambo colors too.
  13. Any idea what a reasonably priced AP of this designation would go for?
  14. Hi fellas, I have some nice watches that I wear on special occasions, but I'd like one to wear on a daily basis. I was looking through the "Show your daily watch" thread and found this one. I am really drawn to it. I am aware it is an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore, but I can't find any/haven't seen any with this band. It looks durable and (dare I say) a bit rugged. I am somewhat drawn to that. Can anyone advise on the specs of this watch? Would that band ultimately hurt resale? And what can I expect to pay for a watch like this? I found some that are "similar" for $15,000'ish, could I get one for less? Thanks! Joe
  15. Hey fellas, Would anyone happen to know the paint code to the Superleggera rims? They are a gunmetal/titanium'ish color. I'm looking to have some paint mixed, any help would be appreciated.. Thanks! Joe
  16. I have been working on finding a nice upgrade to my Bentley Continental GT (a newer year, or Speed edition) when my dealer proposed the thought of a lease on a new Supersports they got in. It would be $22K down, $2,900 a month. I would put my car towards that. What makes me uneasy is the thought that I will pay all of that money, and at the end, its not mine. Please keep in mind I am not able to use a lease as a write-off, like a lot of others. So.... thoughts? Is that a good deal? Do any of you lease? Can you give me an argument, because I am leaning more towards no at the moment. Thanks, Joe
  17. I have V1 stealthly installed in my rear view mirror on both my Bentley & Superleggera. Both were custom installations and ran upwards of $4,000+ per car, in case anyone wanted to know the going rate. I feel its a great investment when its time to resell the vehicles, who is going to look at it and say they dont want it? Feel free to PM with any questions....
  18. I just pulled the trigger on this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...8#ht_1966wt_821 I will let you all know how it goes!
  19. Can anyone advise on which one they use, and if it works well?
  20. You plug the code reader in to a port under your steering column. You then scan the car through the reader and it tells you if there are any error codes. It will then tell you what those codes mean (aka: what the problem is). Most readers will also give you the ability to shut the code off so that it is no longer illuminated on your dashboard.
  21. Or this? http://www.thepartsbin.com/sitemap/lamborg...tool~parts.html
  22. Can anyone advise? I know for the Lamborghini you need a reader that also works with CAN, because that is how the Lamborghini communicates with the programming tool. Any suggestions? I found this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUPER-UNIVE...ht_11128wt_1167 It works with VAG & OBDII (CAN) and can do the CEL resets, etc. I like it because I have a Bentley as well, so the VAG hookup would be useful. Any input would be appreciated!
  23. For any of you use an OBD2 device to check fault codes and reset them, such as CEL, etc. Which brand/model do you use? Thanks in advance!
  24. I'm thinking about getting myself into a Black Bentley GT Speed. I have been entertaining the idea of getting aftermarket rims, and found a set I really like. I wanted to see if others agreed with my opinion. Picture these 22" textured black rims on a Gloss Black GT. I'm thinking red calipers to add an aggressive touch. Thoughts? Opinions?
