  1. Aventador is a monster..... Link to blog removed, watch the original video here http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...st&p=872112 Ran from the LP560
  2. Car drives just like a stock SLR, except that the exhaust is a little loader. Driveability has not been affected at all by the mods.
  3. Its all good. Just clowning with you. I'm sure your tonsils are barely hammered. My CL is heavier than the SLR, makes more power and has a worse gear (2.65). As such, the CL takes longer to get going but will eat the SLR from a roll. The extra 3 mph trap speed is the extra power of the CL showing itself.
  4. As soon as I download, I will post. Haven't looked at the SD card yet.
  5. Thanks. Heating the Hoosier drag radials like crazy and coming out off idle with progressive addition of throttle.
  6. Due to having your tonsils constantly pounded, it might have rattled your brain cells : ) In any event, the et and mph are spot on for an SLR at this power level with a 1.55 60 foot in the DA I was running. Gearing, weight, torque and horsepower all factor in.
  7. Made a little more power, and was able to get 1.55 60 foot. Result 10.29 @ 134 mph Video here: http://www.roadtesttv.com/renntech-slr-mcl...ks-road-test-tv For you Allan : )
  8. Thanks. My CL65 is making approx. 750 hp and 840 lb/ft of torque to the wheels. Its been a testbed for Renntech's R&D on the Biturbo platform. Boost is approximately 1.5 - 1.6 bar. This SL may be our next project.... This is its baselne runs.
  9. Thanks for all the compliments. We've been pushing the envelope a little with these Benzs. Its been a good time. The track was PBIR in Florida.
  10. Ran 10.27 @ 137.46 in my CL65 under similar conditions. DA of around 1500.
  11. Hoosier drag radial are key. I drove the SLR in the video. In spite of being a warm night, ran a string of 10.40s with the 10.43 being the best. On a cooler night, I think 10.30s or better in reach. Ran 10.27 @ 137.46 in my CL65 under similar conditions. DA of around 1500.
  12. I saw the SLR run multiple times. Woman was not on the throttle the entire mile. Easy to hear her getting in and out of the throttle. Clearly the reason for her speeds. I was dying to ask if I could make a pass in it. With respect to the accuracy of the timing devices, I arrived after the lunch time fix. My three runs were within about 1 MPH of my GPS. There were guys out there crying that the speeds were too slow. That's always the case with these events. Go figure. This is what I observed after 12 noon: Modded GT-Rs in the mid 170s; Lighted modded still Supercharged Ford GTs in the low to mid 180s; Modded Porsche 996 Turbo in the high 170's (Gary's car). Lightly modded new Vipers 170s. Twin turbo Gallardo spyder high 190s. Lots of cars in the 160s and 150s that should be in the 160s and 150s. I went 185 mph at a Top Gun Run event, and have added 50 rwhp since then. I went 191 mph at this event with 50 hp more at the wheels and is what I expected. I don't know what was going on before lunch; however, after 12 noon speeds were accurate.
  13. Made some mods to car, new best. http://www.youtube.com/user/roadtesttv#p/u/6/d93ni8_dspM
