  1. Thanks Nath4N. The color looked really nice in the pics of the show car--hopefully it will look as good in person!!
  2. Webster, you have good taste! My order went in 12-16-10 and is Grigio Estoque, black leather/black alcantara inserts, yellow calipers/full yellow contrast stitching. At least our calipers and stitching are different!! It will be interesting to hear your thoughts between this car and that little baby you have over in Europe. Enjoy!!
  3. I believe the spoiler only deploys (5 or 15 degrees) at speed. Also, I've heard it may deploy under extreme braking? (like the SLR?)
  4. did anyone notice on this Automobile mag picture that rear of the car is basically undisguised? You can make out the "W" nomenclature that I have heard appears on the rear bumper and I believe you can make out a lamborghini badge above the license plate..... http://image.automobilemag.com/f/31557196+...e-in-motion.jpg
  5. This has got to be one of the funniest threads I have ever seen on any forum......you guys are killing me
  6. Roy and Tommy are correct. This is a very controlled invite list. I was at my dealer when the owner of the dealership was on the phone with the director of US sales JUSTIFYING each of the 12 names on his list. He was actually asked to remove one of the names and he did. I was impressed/surprised that Lamborghini was scrubbing the list down to this level, but they are. It would be fruitless to just "show up".
  7. Thanks RaginBull. I have really been enjoying it. 800 miles in 3 weeks! I just love driving it. I better start driving my other cars or this is going to become a "high mileage" SL!!
  8. Thanks. I hope it becomes available? I guess I will have to call and figure out if they are going to make it for the G SL or just the 560?
  9. Me three!!! That is what I will aspire to!!
  10. Couldn't agree more!! I was one of the first in the U.S. to put the Eisenmann Race on my M5 in Dec of '05 and I must have sold 10 systems for them from people listening to my car! Over 4 years later, it still puts a smile on my face everytime!!
  11. Thanks again in advance for anything you can find! I can definitely tell it was washed often and well cared for! My best friend owns a couple of hand car washes and its the only place I go, so I will carry on the hand washing tradition!!
  12. Thanks again Allan! I appreciate your flattery!
  13. Thanks for the info! As I said in my pm, I appreciate how well you took care of the car--it's MINT! I did not get the window sticker, etc--only the car cover and Nav CD/books and manuals. I guess I will call them and see if they can locate the other items? Probably not likely at this point..... Thanks again!
  14. I am looking at the RSC bumper from the 570 SL.
  15. Well, from watching the video again, I can see that this car has tinted rear lights, so it is probably the car from California with the Larini exhaust that is been in some of the youtube videos?
  16. Allan, Is that my actual car? I hope so, because from that shot it looks like it's got some guts! I guess Dave didn't do too many sport launches because the clutch still has 90% on it. Thanks for the vid!
  17. Thanks again, you guys. And yes, Sprite is correct, I am in the ATL !
  18. Thanks man!! I am looking at doing the Larini exhaust with testpipes and the RSC 570 front bumper. I have eisenmann race exhaust with an x-pipe on my M5 and it is definitely louder than the SL--so I plan on correcting that.
  19. It sure is!! It is truly a special car! Look forward to meeting you some day in the future--Graham gave me the blow by blow as the deal was getting done.......
  20. Thanks Lambogator. I can see what you mean about lowering the car. That pic was snapped just after the car came off the trailer. I lowered it when I got in and started it. I have a good friend with an LP640 that I have driven around with--I guess I wasn't observant enough to notice the "paparazzi" when we've been out. Oh well, it does go with the territory. The funniest part was my 13 yo daughter wanting to roll the window up because she felt weird with all the attention. She has now decided it's "fun" to feel special.....
  21. Thanks guys. Yup, that's my car with M5 V10's dad's new Spyder that we took out on Saturday morning. I am not used to the attention you get with a Lambo. The number of people that snap pics is pretty incredible. The car has already shown up on chasingexotics.com and Ferrarichat and I have only driven it for about 3 hours. Again, thanks for the kind words.
  22. I just took delivery of a white '08 Superleggera from Scottsdale that I believe was AzExoticLover's. I have an E60 M5 and '09 CTS-V (daily driver) as well. This is my first Lambo (but hopefully not my last!). I am looking forward to participating on this forum and meeting some new friends. Here is a picture of the car that my daughter took:
