I think it was clear Tony was caught by surprise, but as I stated earlier, its very well noted and documented how hard Ross Slingshotted, this is why he went back to the staging lanes for the rerun before Kevin contested it. Rightfully so as earlier slingshotters were not permitted a rematch, despite it wasnt as hard or greater differential as on this run. It was still a slingshot.

Ditto. But I doubt it will happen. The first change should be the venue it self, the strip is just too short for how fast these cars are making the staging distance just not sufficient. Again as a guy from the GTR camp with a GTR, if I did slingshot, but the light was green and same tactic was done at earlier races and no one contested and the judge turned a blind eye to it, I also wouldn't rerace knowing that the competition is way faster and odds are against me, so I am basically handing over the win if I rerace, I assure you this would also happen if the race was from an underdog GTR vs a more powerful UGR. It is also worth pointing out Ross knew he slingshotted and went back to the staging lanes to rerace, but Kevin contested. It is what it is, cant have double standards. Congrats team UGR on the win and KOTS!

So it seems the event is over? I am not sure how many will participate next year if this goes unaddressed.

There are inconsistencies no doubt, the same behaviour was observed earlier and nothing was said as you pointed out even from the GTR camp against other GTRs, I am not sure what can be done at this point, but the event will be stained either way. They should race from a dig and call it a day or run on a longer strip with a better staging distance and braking distance.

As you definitely know, on the street, if there is a contest to the start and there is a clear signs of a jump and the other party didn't chase. So a rematch is enforced, if other party forfeits and doesnt run the rematch then they lose or the pot gets dissolved back.

The Huracan indeed came slingshotted by two car lengths and was on par with Tonys GTR when the light went green, but the Huracan was already at full tilt when Tony hit it, there is no way he could have won even if he tried to overcome the slingshot. The Huracan was already at a higher MPH and momentum due to the slingshot tactic, but again as Duhawks pointed out, many races were similar and the judges let it go.

Seems Amir has a hard decision to make since its clear the Huracan slingshotted from behind, but so did other cars earlier, and despite the distance, its still a sling shot, either 2 cars length or half a car. But if one thing we can all agree is that this runway has clearly become too short for this event, you need a good 6000ish ft runway for this event and even though I have a GTR and root for the GTR camp, I would not put a car with a chute and a small rear brakes in the same category as a street trimmed car. You want to compete at the KOTS, then you dont run a chute and must be able to ensure you can stop safely with your high performance brakes or any street mod, not a strictly off road mod.

Seems there is a debate about the KOTS race. Also they wanted 30minutes to cool down the cars.

The Green Huracan did go sooner (SlingShot) just like Asier GTR also SlingShotted Viren GTR and Yellow Drag965 Huracan (Albeit by a smaller margin). Maybe because its the KOTS they want to ensure a clean start.

There is a hard to detect slingshot and there is an obvious clear slingshot, Asier did slingshot Viren's GTR and also the Yellow Drag965 Huracan X, but he was on the car trunk/ass almost making it an acceptable margin, just like it is with most previous years races. Then you have the Green Huracan who came from about 2 car lengths behind T1 GTR, a friend there is confirming this as well as the High Tech Corvette live stream camera man. Again it will take few weeks for montage but the footage will be out to confirm the story.

It was clear and it will be extremely clear once GoPro videos are released the Lambo was at WOT almost a full second before the light went green since he was trying to slingshot HARD behind Tony, you can double confirm this once they release GoPro Footage, this is why Tony went hard on the brake too.

That will make things really interesting, did any of the X feature the new billet gears?

I thought UGR already looked into DRs and for some reason they didn't work well.
