  1. I would just buy a second one and RM it.
  2. I'm still playing but I'm playing with the controller. I need to get a wheel. As for driving aids, I don't use any for car less that 500hp other than ABS. I set a higher ABS so my brakes do lock up when I apply them. For my higher power cars, 500hp+, I'll set my traction control to 1 or 2 and turn on skid recovery force and adjust my ABS. Some cars are extremely difficult to drive using the controller without some assists, especially skid recovery force.
  3. I have quite a few 1:18 Autoart and Kyosho Lamborghinis but I'd love to see that 1:12 Kyosho LP5000S! They are quite difficult to find now.
  4. I like to waste my hard earn money on Lamborghini related diecast models, slot cars, etc.
  5. Yeah, I have maxed out one of my Italias and one of my McLaren F1's but just for race purposes only. Actually I set my McLaren F1 up as if it was the LM version but it is most likely still way over the top. The rest of my Lambos and Ferraris are virtually stock.
  6. How much are you modding any of your cars and what assists are you using? In the beginning I was modding my car quite a bit but now I just enjoy driving my car in their stock form only upgrading the suspension to give the car a better stance and sport soft tires. The only assists that I use is TC and ABS set to 1. The only mods that I want to do from now on are only bolt on mod solely because they can be removed.
  7. I think I'm going to start using the TGTT for testing my cars. I've been using Monza a lot, especially for testing my Ferraris, and while I really enjoy Monza I'm not finding it challenging enough.
  8. I hear you. I have 214 cars in my garage right now and I haven't driven most of them especially the cars that I've won. There have only been a handful of cars that I've rack some serious miles on. There are also a lot of cars that were purchased for single events never to be driven again.
  9. I just took out my R8 V10 around Monza and didn't beat my best lap time in my similarly spec Gallardo but the lap times were so close that I'm sure that I could beat it. Gallardo: 1:49.921 R8 V10: 1:50.887 My stock Veyron smoke both of them with a lap time of 1:40.112.
  10. I only use the cockpit view in practice mode but the rest of the time I use the bumper camera view. The cockpit view shakes to much for me which make me lose my concentration.
  11. My go to test track is Monza. I haven't pitted my R8 V10 against my Ferraris or Lamborghinis yet but my quickest car that I've tested so far is my fully tuned McLaren F1.
  12. Are you driving with or without assists? I need to have traction control on 1 or 2 for the LP640 and SV.
  13. I received my S.Vettel X1 for reaching B-spec level 35 and the carbon X1 was given to me in a trade for the S.Vettel X1. You can also win the S.Vettel X1 for placing 3rd in the S.Vettel Challenges in Special Events which is unlock when you reach level 30.
  14. I just received the F10 but I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. But for the B-spec endurance races I've been using my carbon X1. Now that car is completely insane.
  15. I just bought the McLaren MP4-12C in the game but I can't decide if I like it or not. The styling of this McLaren is too subtle, reminds me of a Lotus.
  16. Verde Ithaca is really growing on me.
  17. I finally got the Miura in the game.
  18. I'd love to have a setup like that!
  19. The Ferrari 330 P4 is actually a 1967. I had made a mistake when I created my account it should have been 1969 but I couldn't change it. Oh well. The game gifts you a car on your birthday from the year you were born. I've heard of a lot of people exploiting the birthday gift but I can't be bothered. There are plenty of people out there that will just give you any car that you want. Especially now that you can backup and restore you game save you have nothing to loose. Yeah, a friend of mine gifted me the X1 since he was able to restore his game save. Nothing to loose. I actually don't enjoy driving the X1. It is way too fast, it takes the fun out of the game. Nothing but another X1 can touch it. I've only been using it for the B-spec endurance races. It only takes about 2 hours to complete the 500 laps at Indy.
  20. I actually got it for my Birthday. I also have the Red Bull X1 but that was gifted to me.
  21. It's just a different aspect of racing. Instead of being the driver you're the chew chief. Plus, it's a means of earning extra money and prize cars. I had never bother with B-spec racing in GT4 but I gave it a shot in GT5 and now I really enjoy it. It also make the endurance races much easier to complete, there is no way that I could ever have the time to do an A-spec 24 hour race but at the higher levels your B-spec driver needs little instruction to complete them.
  22. I used my Ferrari 330 P4 to beat the Historic Championship. What helped me beat Monaco, A-spec, was taking the lead by the first turn. Once in the lead you should be able to hold off the Toyota and Chaparral. If you don't get the lead by the first turn then just restart the event. The trick with B-spec is to pace him down before you reach the turn at the end of the tunnel and on the last turn before the start finish line. If you don't he will hit those corners almost every time which will slow you down. Also make sure you are using a low top gear setting for Monaco, I had it set around 186MPH.
