    Did a quick search on this forum and did not see anything specific thread for this video. Guy on another forum I frequent knows someone that works at the factory and so he got him a factory tour; they are not allowed cameras onsite but it did remind me of the review from my favourite program Grand Designs.

     

    This was on TV a few years ago and the program normally follows the progress of people building their new home but this was a special show and it was following a building award.

    The host then goes onto talk about the sterile work environment and how he could not work in that way but it gives a good idea of the beautifully shaped building the produces both the road cars and the F1 cars.

    I just remembered an incident which happened at the beginning of last week which does not involve a lambo.

     

    My boss was sorting something out with the company accountant and asked me to fill up his Audi A6. Anyway I pull into this petrol station which unfortunately has reputation for environmental protesters campaigning on the entrance. Anyway this very exceptionally cute looking campaigner came up to me trying to thrust some leaflets into my hand. I asked what they were for (with my best butter would not melt look) and she looked at the car and then launched into this spiel about "gas guzzling cars like this" and points at the car and how much fossil fuel it consumes whilst damaging the environment... blah blah.

    As it was my bosses car I did not want any agro whilst I was paying and she was cute so I thought I would play around.

    I told her it was an electric car much like the Prius.

     

    She looked at me with admiration, then she looked at the petrol pump.

     

    "So why are you putting petrol in it"

     

    "It is for the cooling system, because it is electric you cannot use water as its cooling method as water does not go with electricity..."

     

    "Ah, right cool"

     

    So she gave me a smile and went back to her crew, I went in and paid.

     

    When I drove off to go and pick up my boss her clan all gave me a big thumbs up.

    These quotes were kind of amusing too....

    "A lambo guy called me a ferrari fag and i kicked his ass."

     

    "Owning both a Ferrari and a Lamborghini, I had to kick my own a##!"

     

    "I called a POS owner a POS Queer and he kicked my ass."

     

    "Some dude in a Ferrari pulled up to me in my 'POS and mouthed off, so I had to kick his ass."

     

     

    Reading that thread they really feel the need to 'kick some ass' all the time so I am wondering if they really mean 'take it in the ass'?

    Ah should have said, if you run the window not in full maximum size.

    If I fully open the window then the banners are side by side, if running on a smaller window (work browsing) then the banner overlaps the text and the two adverts go on top of each other.

     

    Granted in the order of things to sort out in this world this is not up there with world famine etc but I thought I would just note this down as I was on the phone to a boring client...

    Please see uploaded image but I know it sounds Nerdy but wondering if anyone else is getting this problem with adverts banners at the top?

     

    I am running the latest version of Firefox and admittedly I have not tried the site in Internet Explorer to see if the problem exists there.

     

    I probably am teaching Grandma to suck eggs but have you tried the banners side by side?

    I remember with great fondness my (now deceased) Friend's dad and his Countach.

    He had travelled up from Switzerland where he was working to see us during the Easter holidays. He took me out for a spin through some of the country roads round here, he slowed to turn around in this small lane and this old festering hag of a woman appeared out of nowhere.

    She leaned over and tapped her fingers on the window, my friend's dad opened the door.

     

    She spurted out all this abuse that these sportscars and how they were dangerous, why were we going so fast, the speed limit is 70mph why do we need a car that goes faster than fast?

     

    Friend's responded with "So I can go to hell quicker" shut the door and then gunned it up the road.

    We had a GREAT thread about these with alot of owner stories (as well as the comebacks they replied back with!!) over a year ago! No idea what it was titled but it would be awesome if we could find that thread!!! :lol2:

     

    One of my favorites was from LVeric when he pulled up somewhere with his Lambo,

     

    Hater: "Dude you can tell that car is a fake from a mile away"

     

    Eric: "Yeah, but it came with a matching fake watch" (as he flashed his $20,000 rolex) :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

  19. Roy (Cats Exotics) Gives Full Refund

    Once on the lift, it was apparent that there were notable inconsistencies in the vehicle's description and/or it had been damaged. The owner was significantly disappointed and contacted Cats Exotics, requesting Roy to make good on his company's 3-day return policy. The new owner stated that the request was promptly granted, though it took 'a few days' to actually receive his money. In due time, he did in-fact receive a full refund.

    Whilst it is great that Roy eventually refunded the money with very few rakes stepped upon it should be pointed out that a poor quality car was sold by him. Again.

    Rossi is getting dicked good and proper. I guess he is ruing the tyre contract shenanigans though Stoner is doing okay on them.

     

    Anyone see the body weights of the riders*

     

    Stoner is 58kg - 127.9 pounds - 9.1 stone

    Pedrosa is 51kg - 112.5 pounds - 8 stone

    Rossi 67kg - 147.7 pounds - 10.6 stone

     

     

     

     

     

     

    *Not being odd here it was mentioned by the commentators on the BBC in the last race and a different forum I post on we started talking about how much weight Toseland has had to lose to ride the GP bikes yet he is still losing loads of power to weight to the other riders.
