  1. Its people like you that give LPE a bad name ummmmmm you seemingly have no idea what LPE do. its people like allen-lambo that give lambo owners a bad name. I have no idea what he's like in real life... but if he is anything like his arrocant aristocratic posts suggest, no thanks. A sence of entitlement is a strange thing to deal with. I regularly meet with, and know many exotic collectors, and owners; not one of which has had this attitude; which is why I dont take anything ol allen-lambo says with more then a pinch of salt.... this includes people who make allen's wealth seem like but a drop from a kettle.... while TH may be posting to generate interest for selling his car; the engineering that goes into building them is nothing short of amazing. truth be told, how does an owner reflect on the company? welcome to the intardweb it seems...
  2. .......Our time in the mile was definitly good, but also very beatable...... If the car does not sell, it will run again to set better times 0-60, 1/4, and the mile. Good luck Brother!!!!! This is my 3rd project with LPE....and they are the ****! TH would you be willing to do the tests witha grassroots publication? (one that might not insist on the same requirements as your car was previously run under) i'm not sure the car i'm speaking of will beat yours.... its just in the realm of possibility
  3. i think shortly, your time set on the mile might be shattered i've said too much already  that said LPE do a great job with thier cars
  4. the french were upset that they weren't winning le mans, so they specifically banned the GT in an effort to give the advantage to them.... but well, that specific history aided Porsche with the 917, and Ferrari with the P3/4 They didn't ban the car, per se; but banned its engine size, and created a new set of rules that specifically hurt Ford's effort. that really didn't matter, however, as by 69, Ford had withdrawn its factory support some time back; and it was then that the Gulf team won as a privateer; with the smaller engine (not the 7.0 DOHC unit that won/dominated the previous year) anyway.... there is so much history about it, i highly recomend going to the local automotive hobby store and buying a book about it
  5. Thanks for a great day Kurt! easily one of the greatest day's I've had in quite some time; I think everything ended up where it could'nt have been more perfect By friday, that video of your Vector overheating should be done :axe: I think a teaser could be in store for LP members :goodman:
  6. I'm curious as to what periodical had the original published top-speed run in a W8, that was only published once... or if that proves dificult to find, the skidpad test to 1.25 G would be interesting. there are of course a lot of questions i have, but they will wait til i see you next
  7. you ought to know as well as anybody, 0-60 sprints are very dependant on the driver, the weather conditions, and the surface tested on. On day one, over at Milan dragway it could be 3.9 seconds, while in somewhat different conditions over at Martin Dragway it could be 4.1 seconds. Read any current automotive periodical, and you will see 0-60 times varying by nearly .5 seconds, and sometimes even more for the same car. what does that have to do with you loving your W8?
  8. if that were the case, why on earth would you want it? let alone, want to keep it? I'm sure he appreciates and greatly enjoys his Vector.. He’s making a point that its his car to do with what he pleases. I dont know Tony, nor is it my place to judge him based on anything but what i have seen him write... which isn't entirely fair. but when somebody is saying 'mabey the Vector is your pride and joy, its just a toy to me' .... 'my money to do whatever i please' I have to ask "is that really enjoying the car? do you get a kick out of not being able to drive? At that point, its a 1:1 Ricko die cast model IMHO... i dont see any posts in this thread about him loving his Vector, besides not wanting to sell it because he has plenty of money. I'd like to be proven wrong
  9. if that were the case, why on earth would you want it? let alone, want to keep it?
  10. as i've mentioned a bit yesterday, I met a 2006 Ford GT Sunday Morning. Pressed for time, the location may not be the best, but god is this car damn Sexy. Oh, it also goes like stink, and would leave RC45 dumbfounded by its speed, and cornering abilities... all while "taking it easy" !!! http://nthimage.com ------> photoshoots 17 hi-res images b]http://nthimage.com ------> photoshoots 17 hi-res images[/b] Enjoy!
  11. as a strictly got-to-have it factor, not even a black W8 comes close to your? yellow W8 IMHO. It would be my hope/dream that one day the owner feels it boring, and no longer suitable for thier collection; and at the same time my own funds are sufficiant that I may own her. this car's history is a faciniating one, to say the least
  12. alright, ive gone and done my first full update in too many weeks, some may not like the car; but it goes like stink! I may have gone slightly overboard with the pictures, but they turned out quite nice http://nthimage.com ----->55 Hi res photos under photoshoots http://nthimage.com ----->55 Hi res photos under photoshoots Enjoy!
