  1. Come on up! there's a very good reason most of us keep going year after year...aside from cougars and oysters I can put out feelers with friends as well. Be prepared to get murdered in hotel prices, but ideally you wanna stay close to the action.
  2. Pay it, move on and sell the property for a nice profit. I work with commercial building folks in the energy space, what are you guys doing to control your other energy costs? Sounds like if this water situation got this bad you guys might be leaving a lot of other money on the table in other areas. I'm happy to help with that.
  3. There's a lot of potential with this...
  4. Dealers get a lot of walk ins that aren't serious, so they're far less likely to entertain you right off the bat...I have friends at dealers who've had people come in pretending to buy a car, they even fill out all the paper work and such, but then when the check tries to clear... It's always best to call ahead and make an appointment if you're serious about buying. I just back from Texas, you guys out there like your speed, but the funniest sight was a raised white raised Ford F150 towing a Grigio Titans Heracan Performante on a trailer. Yee-ha!
  5. On that 7th day if rest status...
  6. Great post VCR. I recall the when it came to test beds, only the Veneno was actually one as underneath the can-am inspired skin was the yet to be released Aventador SV. I've said it before, these limited 1 off series cars are a win for everyone, a few select customers get some very uniquely designed cars, Lambo can show the world a crazy design exercise and raise capital to fun their "normal cars;" I'm all for it. I'm in the camp that actually likes the Centenario, and as you've pointed out there's a lot of classic Lambo lines in the car. I've looking forward to seeing what the Jota will look like. So here's an important question: Who's going to the Quail this year to see the car and is interested in joining me, Plastique and Assman in fending off cougars and raiding the oyster bar?
  7. I was going to get an SV and got hit with some torpedoes so I couldn't. The SV is still at the top of my to get list, which if things work out will be very soon. I'll be at Monterey Car Week so I'm curious to see what this Jota is all about, it may replace the SV on my to get list.
  8. We seriously need an Aventador based Sesto. And a Huracan based Sesto. And the original Sesto. I'm all for a Sesto Siesta!
  9. Have you seriously not see the McLaren Senna??? Give proper credit were it is due.
  10. And forgot to take a signature Roman selfie. So they ensured it happened when Ace was enroute to the airport for the boards... Awesome times hanging my man. Definatly let me know anytime you're in lala land.
  11. 185 Coupes and 100 something roadsters? That would make for 300ish total cars.
  12. Maybe we all meet at the Lamborghini Press Announcement at the Quail this year?
  13. I feel the ISR transmission gets no love...as a technical achievement, it's crazy impressive. It's almost as fast in shifting as a DCT (.2 milliseconds slower) and it's lighter. Yes the Aventador is a heavy car, but the single clutch gives the car that signature supercar feel. No offense to the Huracan, but compared to the single clutch the Huracan feels a bit tamer and it feel closer in relation to a 458 Italia, 570S, and just about every other DCT car out there...from a shifting and power transfer stand point. I love how we agree on 98.24% of things, yet when it comes to the DCT vs ISR and the Dione wheels vs the Diantus wheels...lines are drawn But that's what makes the car world great, different seats for different drivers. Time to ping my Italian birdie...
