  1. wait until i hear back from Todd to see what he can do . Hes the head man for SE . If he cant do it , it cant be done. If he cant dig up a 09 with that color scheme i will see if he can do you a 2011 in that exact color
  2. Nope , back in the day i raced but i was like everyone else. I looked up to these guys. They were bigger than life to me. Sometimes i have to stop and think about how cool it is to have Greg Hill , Scott Briethaupt, Mike Buff and many of my heros as friends now , and partners. What a great sport to grow up in back in the 80s. Was your scorpion a SX or a ZX ? I will dig through and find a few examples to show you and trigger your memory. Or if you have a old shot of you on your bike shoot it to me.
  3. Yep, Ed Ferri got with them and contracted the colors just like we had back in the day. I think he is the only exclusive dealer for the colored ones. I also emailed Ed as well as Todd Lyons and a few others to get you the Ripper. The problem is the one you want is a 2009 color. I will dig you one up though
  4. Where the concrete ends .... Is that hill side smooth or steep ? You could ramp off of it Mt. Bike style and probably hit some good speed downhill. The entire area looks killer ! You might want to hit craigs list for ramps and set up's. We partnered up with a skating rink guy about 4 years ago. A park that went out of business was getting out quick ! The skate guy took all of the roller skates and we took the helmets , set up's, and ramps for dirt cheap ! When they close they move that stuff for pennies. They are usually in deep and will deliver it whever you need it too. Instant skate park !
  5. I found you one but i am having trouble getting her off it ........
  6. Do you remember the truck the RL Osbourn had back in the day with the BMX Action decal in the windshiled ? I think Mike Buff Or RL did a shot jumping over it. I have had some Scorpions through the years. I dont have one right now but i can get you one. What model did you have or looking for ? There is nothing like finding the bike you had back in the day and building it back. Get some Bing music on and set the dial to 1984 and get the wrenches out.
  7. Here is a pic of some of it. You will see pretty much the entire collection in this coming issue of Transworld Ride BMX along with my parts dungeon . This issue of Classic BMX has some good shots of Key pieces that i have collected over the past 20 years. It is issue 5 that has my stuff in it.
  8. I dont know if you get Classic BMX Magazine or if you know about them ? For all of us oldschoolers its awesome and totaly dedicated to our glory days. It is published out of Australia . You can type Classic BMX Magazine on ebay and it will bring up some back issues. I know you can go right to there wed site or buy them from distributors as well. Issue 5 has about 4 pages of my collection in it with some of my prized finds through the years. If you get Ride BMX Magazine i have a good interview and a few pages coming out in the next issue of it as well. It should be a good issue with full X games coverage !
  9. I will make a couple of calls for you now. If you want i can get the pad set off of it or maybe get an extra set of pads and have some of the old guys from back when we rode sign it for you. Pad sets look cool signed. I will send them to Scott Briethaupt and let him pass them on to Perry Kramer , Utterback , and a few guys .
  10. I have been good brother , i hope you doing well ! I teamed up with a few guys and Hollywood Mike Miranda and we relaunched CW Racing and its been gaining ground quick. If your ever in London and you hook up with Maximillion Cooper be sure to check out this NOS 1982 Yellow Looptail Ripper that i sold him about 5 years ago. There are only 2 NOS yellow ones known to exist. He has it in a glass case behind a Enzo there on the floor. I bet more come to see the yellow Ripper ! LOL
  11. Here is a NOS 1983 Looptail PK that i have stashed in my collection and a NOS 1982 candy blue floval flyer that i have on the wall. Only 5 NOS blue flovals are known to exist and only two blues.
  12. Allan, if you cant get it in white let me know. I will give Todd Lyons a call for you and have you one on the way. Do you want it in red just like this one ? I would also make sure i bought one with the re release Oakley B1B grips. They are exclusive to a limited run on SE.
  13. I should have a few sets in stoarge . If you still ave my number give me ring and i will see what else i have in there. Still looking for you a baby blue VDC Freestyler as well !
  14. I would ride my bike to school everyday and i would pull my pads off and put them in my back pack. I didnt take them off just one time ...... Gone !
  15. The new pad set up is crazy and i flet your pain as well. When I started CW back up last year I took the best of the old and the new and put them in one. I went back to Flite pads , the original maker of CW pads and many others back in the day. I did a exclusive contract with them and brought the full vintage line and a new chrome series line of pads out that are FULL WRAP around. The kids love them because they thing they are a new design , LOL If you visit CW's site you will see the full line of pads just like we loved back in the day.
  16. One for the Haro guys , the only NOS 1st gen Haro Freestyler in the world. Maximillon Cooper has been after this one for years. He wants to hang it in the Gumball museum.
  17. Old picture of my Hutch Pro Star and old Countach that i had years ago. Iconic 1980s to the max !
  18. The museum stash ! I hope that one day i can open a full out BMX Museum open to everyone.
  19. Good to hear from you my friend ! Did you ever get that Donky Kong game rolling ? I say we drain that kick ass pool you have and let me call Woddy Itson , Greg Hill, Mike Miranda , and Mike Buff and lets have a old school pool ride. If my memory is correct , i think you had a Trackmaster back in the day ? I just picked up a 1982 chrome frame set that i plan on building soon. Hang tight and i will post up some oldschool bikes to help take everybody back to the days of riding to the City Pool , hooking up with the hottie at 13 , and sneaking to watch of fast times at ridgemont high on the "rented " Curtis Mathis VCR , LOL !
  20. Nick , you still rippin is awesome my friend ! There was a retsoration that was done my BMX Plus a few issues back with Ron Wilkersons old frame set. He is a class act !
  21. I had a NOS green 1985 Master that was still in the box . It sold for around $2K so they are highly sought after. It needs to be restored right ! That was a iconic bike in the 80s.
  22. A few oldschool bikes in movies that i remember as well. I remember in Karate Kid he rode that Mongoose Kos Cruiser or what it a Moosegoose ? Of course RAD and BMX Bandits which had Nichole Kidman in it. I also heard that the new Tron movie had a PK Ripper in it but i havent seen it yet. This is a pink Hutch Hollywood that belongs to a friend of mine.
  23. Here on the east coast we all had Hutch and Profile on the want list. I ALWAYS wanted a ball burnished PK Ripper . When i got to Free Flite all they had was candy blue and red. I went with the blue on and can remember everything about that day. Getting it off of the wall , going to eat while they put the bike together ETC. I had to have CW bars because that is what Buff ran on his PK. A few of the other frame sets that were popular here were JMC, CW , Kuwahara and the Schwinn Sting.
  24. There is no doubt the Mike Buff is a living legend and was one of the top three freestylers back in the day. I remember going to "Free Flite" the big bike shop in Atlanta and seeing the BMX Action trick show back in the day. Sometimes i cant believe that i have been able to go full circle and have some of these guys working with me. Buff is one of the best people you will ever talk to. His 4 girls dont even know that he was such a big part of building the popularity of bikes in the 1980s. If it were not for guys like RL Osborne , Mike Buff , Bob Haro, Eddie Fiola, Woddy Itson, and Mike Dominguez the X games would not be quite as exciting. They are true icons.
