  6. Hi everybody, I need to contact Heffner for ordering a set of front brakes. Unfortunately their Webpage is not active so I can`t e-mail them. Anyone can help me ? Thanks
  7. Yes, I think so. This is the thread where I found it.... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic...carbon%20wheels And here is the original source . US Porsche forum... http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/997-tur...-questions.html Cheers,
  8. But....there is a thing that calls my attention on this point. How they join the spokes to the rim ?? Glued ? I can see the rim surface perfectly clean at that points. The wheel was in a Porsche GT3 I guess.
  9. Be careful ........This was the result after a drag run..........
  10. What you can do is to compare the Sparco measurements with the GT3. In the picture you have all the numbers. May be the Sparco is too large for the Lambo. Cheers, Javier
  11. I can't understand where is the problem. I fitted my GT3 just in 2 hours (including job for the harnesses). I removed the stock seats and the runners. The GT3 comes with standard bucket mounting plates which fit to the standard runners with Allen bolts. Once you have done this simply refit the runners to the floor and .....Thats all !!. Don´t forget to fit a resistor to the side airbag connectors to cancel the Airbag warning light. IMO comfort is much better than with the stock seats (I have some minor back problems) particulary on track driving. The access to the cockpit is a little bit uncomfortable due to the high side of the bucket seat but is only a matter of practice. As soon as the weather be sunny I will put the car outside and take some pictures showing the seats over the runners. By the way, you can get them in the States..... http://stores.ebay.com/maxspeed-motorsports Cheers, Javier
  12. These are mines fitted. I'm really happy with them and the leather/CF combinations looks nice for me. A big difference in comfort on the track compared with the stock ones......
  13. I got mines from www.prestigebodykits.com . Fantastic made, available in all options (carbon fiber, kevlar, fiberglass, leather, suede or normal fabric. Very reasonable price. Fit directly on stock runners and the driving position is excelent. I tested them at the track and there is a big difference. And you will be saving 65Lbs of weight replacing the heavy stock ones. Cheers, Javier
  14. Yes, basically but I think that your Y sounds softer than our LL. This is the reason to compare our LL as your J in the name Janice.
  15. The answer is as simple as Ferrucchio Lamborghini was a enthusiastic fan of spanish bull fighting (Olé, olé) which is a tradition hated by mostly of people here. All the Lamborghini names are in relation with famous bulls sacrified as an "spectacle". The name Miura is from a well known bull ranch in Spain providing the biggest and more furious and famous bulls ever. Names as Urraco, Espada, Diablo etc........are taken from this "bull parade".
  16. Hi everybody: Because I'm spaniard and the name Gallardo (spanish name) was taken (as usual by Mr. F. Lamborghini) from famous spanish bulls here goes my aportation. All of you remember Janice Joplin ? the famous singer ? Well then the right pronunciation of Gallardo is GA (with A like MUM ) GALLAR (with LLA like JA of Janice) GALLARDO (with DO of DONUT) Regards,
