I have a 2001 NSX-Targa Spa Yellow. Really love the car. I agree, a little outdated in the looks department, but it still turns heads. (Although not as much as the Gallardo)

Super reliable vehicle. Oil changes less than fifty bucks. F_ing clutch was $3600 because they can't resurface the flywheel in 97+ vehicles. Nothing has broken down in my NSX is 4 years.

If you weren't told the car only has 290hp, you would think it has a lot more. The car is really nimble and is very tight on turns. Straight line acceleration is a little weak, but if you care about 0-60s, its about 5.3 seconds or so. Feels a lot faster than it really is.

Have never been in a sports car with better view of the road. Forward field of view is phenomenal...maybe thats why it feels faster than it is?

Boosting horsepower has always been the problem...superchargers available but they run 5 to 10gs.

97+ is the way to go...Six speed vs. Five, Extra horsepower, Shorter gears.

Earlier NSXs have that black roof/ colored body look which some people like and other people dont.

Did you try NSXPRIME.com? Tons of information. Always a few cars for sale there. Even has a detailing section because NSX owners wash their own cars!

Most of the NSX owners on that site LOVE lamborghinis and are iffy on Ferraris...

email or PM me if you had any specific questions.

Rick

I think the NSX is a great car reliable and a blast to drive my friend had a 95 and had it for almost 7 years and over 85K miles and the only major expenditures were a new clutch and he said the tires from the factory were ridicolous in cost and they wore out very quickly like only got like 10K miles a set and he did not drive all crazy he was a 3m salesman so he drove constantly
