Deleting own threads?

Just wondering if you guys had thought about allowing users to delete their own threads. Just recently thought about it after creating a thread before searching.

I am not sure it's possible but if it is I don't see why not, we will look into it tomorrow.

I don't know about this version of phpbb, but an older version I used to run had it. I couldn't see why they would take it out.

If deleting the post is not an option just go into EDIT and remove what you wrote and type  DELETED.

This version of phpbb does allow users to delete their posts, but i turned off that function. I dont think allowing them to delete their thread is such a great idea. Sometimes it just make takes away some info that other members might be looking for down the line. However i do understand the fact that we do post without searching from time to time by accident. if so we can however edit the post as well as the title and insert "MODS please delete"
