CountachQV Report post Posted August 11, 2007 I got these 2 plates. Can someone tell me if the plate on these pictures remotely correspond to bolognese plates from the mid-80s? From what I recall the plates from Bologna must have BO on it. The plates on the pictures are 21"x4" ands 21"x6" in size. They are not metal. Could someone tell me what this is? and if someone has an 85 italian plate picutre from Italy, Bologna for countach mount, could someone post it? Thanks

TSS Report post Posted August 14, 2007 Those are UK plates. The Y at the end signifies that they were issued in between 1/8/1982 and 31/7/1983. The WE at the beginning denotes that the car was probably registered in or around Sheffield, Yorkshire.

So now I am stuck with pricey UK 85 period almost correct plates instead of Bolognese period correct plates. I wished I had an Aston. Consolation: these are likley to be real numbers for a real Countach at that time there.
emilio Report post Posted August 14, 2007 correct italian plate of that era is like that in pic but for a Bologna car it must be with BO instead of Roma BO A..... or BO B..... , put 5 numbers instead of ..... A..... and B..... should be correct for 84-85-

Sorry CountachQV, I just ran a check on that plate and it's actually registered to a 1982 Vauxhall Cavalier.
