cgperry Report post Posted February 22, 2005 MPG: Officially, about 14. Realistically, I get maybe 9 at most, closer to 5 in hard driving. Oil & filter - Haven't done it yet, but 5 quarts * $6 / quart for synthetic + $20 filter = $50 plus labor. Haven't needed tune up yet. Allan-Herbie Report post Posted February 22, 2005 I thought like 12 to 14 Isnt that the same like " more like 14" ? depends if you drain the oil coolers.
cgperry Report post Posted February 22, 2005 You're right - forgot this car was a dry sump like the Ferraris. Guess I was thinking about my POS - wet sump car. The TR & F355 are both around 15 quarts total capacity - I would guess the Diablo is similar. So $110 + labor for oil change...? Well you could go to Pinnacle and pay 400.00 and get a 60pt check up also by Jrv!

L Diablo Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Yes, it is wet. Very easy to do yourself. Also 15K service can be done by yourself, about the only thing you would have to farm out would be valve adjustments.
