Need some info on a Diablo

I am doing a report on a 1999 lamborghini Diablo and I was wandeirnf if someone could help me out with some info.

 

I need,

 

How many miles per gallon it gets:

Cost for oil and filter installation:

Tune up:

MPG: Officially, about 14. Realistically, I get maybe 9 at most, closer to 5 in hard driving.

 

Oil & filter - Haven't done it yet, but 5 quarts * $6 / quart for synthetic + $20 filter = $50 plus labor.

 

Haven't needed tune up yet.

5qts? Takes more like 14qts.

You're right - forgot this car was a dry sump like the Ferraris. Guess I was thinking about my POS - wet sump car. The TR & F355 are both around 15 quarts total capacity - I would guess the Diablo is similar. So $110 + labor for oil change...?

Well you could go to Pinnacle and pay 400.00 and get a 60pt check up also by Jrv! :lol:

Diablos are wet sump also. Just a BIG sump

Yes, it is wet. Very easy to do yourself.

 

Also 15K service can be done by yourself, about the only thing you would have to farm out would be valve adjustments.
