Andrew R. Report post Posted March 21, 2005 Just wondering what you guys have on your Diablos as far as alarm systems? I have a 1/2 uninstalled Clifford on mine... looking to have it removed the rest of the way and have a new system installed. Someone told me that the Clarion Ungo was the way to go on the Diablo. -what options do you guys have on your system? Just basics.. or remote window movement, etc... -what brand is the OEM alarm system on the lambos? or does lambo have thier own system? Thanks. Andrew R. Report post Posted March 24, 2005 Gday, med 2000.k never heard of that? Is "med 2000" a brand? I talked to a guy at Car-Fi in Springfield, MO... he said the Viper 5000 system was the way to go. Not sure what I am going to do yet... L Diablo Report post Posted March 24, 2005 Andrew - It seems to be the car itself is the alarm. It draws so much attention, that it would be next to impossible to steal. If I have to park where I can't see it for a while, then I unscrew the battery switch it take it with me. If they want it that bad they will need a flat bed..at that point an alarm won't help. Just my $.02 - if you get one post your results, OK?
Andrew R. Report post Posted March 24, 2005 L Diablo, yeah I hear ya. I am going to get something on there though.. a good part of it is just to have keyless entry, I hate putting the key in the doors to unlock. Good point about taking the battery switch when getting out of the car...
gday Report post Posted March 24, 2005 With my roadster, I like the fact that the med lock/unlocks the doors and also raises the windows. -mick
