Ag02M5 Report post Posted June 14, 2010 There was another thread somewhere. I think the concensus is that there is no good place to hide the unit.

ContinentalGT Report post Posted June 14, 2010 My unit is inside my rear view mirror. It actually looks like its behind the glass, even more concealed that the stealthmirror option above which seems to be more of a 'cut-out' look on the glass. Not sure where you are located but Lamborghini of Bergen County did a tremendous job of having their guy install mine. Very pricey though. It looks to be behind the glass construction. They also added my Blinder 47 controls. I plan on having Lamborghini Bergen County install it! I am waiting on my Kreissieg exhaust, which I was emailed an expected delivery date of June 30th. After the exhaust is in, I will take it all over there for install. Maybe we can hook up after I pick it up?

RaginBull Report post Posted June 14, 2010 Where are you going to mount the unit itself? I figured I would see what LBC recommends.

Thanks a lot!! Mount it as high and in the middle of your car as possible. Below any of the factory tint. Also, look at the unit from the rear of your so that it isn't blocked. This would be the shit if you could hide the detector. The detector itself will end up mounting within itches of the rear view mirror anyway. Valentine needs to make a hide away with the rear view mirror display short of that it seems you are not gaining anything. Unit is still exposed, No? TheFilipinoStig Report post Posted November 7, 2010 Doc - Spot on. The v1 manual (which is accurate to say) says to mount as high up and in the middle of the car as possible. Mine is hardwired directly to the right of my mirror. I don't see the point in hidden displays, since the unit needs to be right there anyway. Also, don't forget that the rear radar needs to "see out" the back window. The only time I've been stopped with mine was when I muted it and forgot to pay attention to the full Ka hit. The other was laser.
