My sister is being seconded to Singapore with her firm for six months & has been given a choice of accomodation below.

 

Have no idea what would be better as she has only been to the country once before & only for a few days.

If anyone has any thoughts as to which is a better location please let me know.

i might be biased since my place is in the cairnhill area - she is going to be closer to Orchard Road etc - IMO much more things to do after work.

 

that said, Beacon is closer to her place..but the commute shouldn't be an issue for either place.

 

that said...i only spend 2 weeks a year back in SG nowadays....so my info might be completed outdated since things change overnight with the crazy 25% growth in the last quarter.

Cairnhill will be my choice .

Right in Town. Plenty of expatriates to mingle with and amenities to ease living away from home.

 

Additional info: From Cairnhill residence to George street ~ 4.20Km (By car) or about 4 stops by Bus commute.
