jpohl402 Report post Posted July 14, 2011 For those of you that LIVE there, (I realize tourism is huge, 10 mil people a year) - how would you say the economy CURRENTLY is? I know for a while there, it was pretty bad - just behind Vegas & Phoenix.... Its difficult to tell if things have rebounded just by visiting because SoBe is busy (though not like it used to be.) So I'm just wondering what your thoughts are, for those that are "in-the-know." Is the unemployment rate very high right now? Does it seem a lot of people actively looking for work in their industry are finding it difficult to get hired? Much thanks.
