NRG x Lambo Report post Posted September 30, 2011 so after numerous attempts to reach Heffner via email and phone message, I finally got my hands on a set of their SL style exhaust tips to help reduce the burning in my carbon diffuser from my stock (shorter) exhaust tips. the exhaust tips were coated by Jet-Hot and has this amazing black/textured finish. Only part i'm a bit bummed about is that the inside of the exhaust tip seems to be raw finish, and almost sorta white/steel color? is it normal NOT to coat the insides? anything i can do to hide the obvious color differences inside and out? i think it'll look really bad and almost makes it look like spray paint? any suggestions would be helpful before i install the tips! thanks! Normally we would coat inside and out, but since this is an exhaust tip it's going to turn black anyways. You'll be fine.... el_chorizo Report post Posted September 30, 2011 I agree, unless you are running C16 the insides will be black anyway. If you run C16, they'll be white just like that

Modo Report post Posted October 1, 2011 In the mean time I would just spray the inside with flat black spray paint.
