ihsteven Report post Posted October 24, 2011 Hi All, I'm looking for some suggestions on which is the best exhaust to get for me. I prefer the deep, more throaty sound, rather than an F1 sound like the Kreissieg.. I feel the sound on my stock LP570 exhaust leaves a lot to be desired, especially at lower RPM (anything less than 3.5k). I want to feel like I'm driving a beast, and the stock exhaust makes me feel like I'm driving your run of the mill car.. I've searched the forum, and gone through most threads. Would love any comments. From my list here are the contenders.. RSC exhaust There is the Quicksilver ###### Exhaust: Final Contender is the Larini Which do you guys like? -Steven

Lambo_Stalker Report post Posted October 25, 2011 i am currently using Trofeo exos and have no regrets Trofeo as in from Super Trofeo series??? Where can we get that? Thanx!
topjay Report post Posted October 26, 2011 Trofeo as in from Super Trofeo series??? Where can we get that? Thanx! You could just have that made if its expensive or you can't buy it, Reiter don't seem to list it yet. It would be extremely easy for a fabricator to make its just a straight pipe that at the end widens and splits in to two. I've got a pictures somewhwere but it looks very similar to this. Fabspeed_Motorsport Report post Posted October 26, 2011 you havent considered the offering from fabspeed? I think our exhaust is one of the "deepest" on the market.. hopefully Mike will chime in, but here is a vid:
roncfpz Report post Posted October 27, 2011 Dave, are you guys working on cat delete pipes for the LP560 and LP570 yet?
Fabspeed_Motorsport Report post Posted October 27, 2011 Dave, are you guys working on cat delete pipes for the LP560 and LP570 yet? the cats on the 560-570 are on the headers IIRC which are a serious nightmare to R&R. we make a pretty sweet exhaust for it though, just ask mike ::edit:: Here are the cats on the 560:
roncfpz Report post Posted October 28, 2011 Thanks. Looks like time to R&D some combo headers and bypass pipes.
topjay Report post Posted October 28, 2011 Dave, are you guys working on cat delete pipes for the LP560 and LP570 yet? Larini will make you a set in a few days if you send them the originals to copy. A guy i know just did it with his enzo, same setup cats are part of the headers, i was considering doing the same if i keep my 560, think the US cars may be different to EU ones though so not sure if you could use the same pattern to make as set. I can make you a set as well. Anyone can take a stock header, trace it with a roamer arm, make a CAD file and knock out another header, but without proper R&D and adequate dyno time as well as special tooling I think throwing headers on the car would be foolish, not to mention there are tube bending limitations. Taking the headers off the 560 is a PITA, which would make dyno testing a PITA not to mention an extremely lengthy process. I am not as technical as some, but check out Swils thread where BMWracer explained who you shouldnt throw headers on a car like a gallardo or CGT like it is a honda civic. cliffnotes: - send me stock headers and i can make you replacements - they may not make power - without r&d and dyno time its a shot in the dark
fordandford Report post Posted November 9, 2011 Trofeo as in from Super Trofeo series??? Where can we get that? Thanx! I am not too sure. My authorised dealer could get it at a reasonably cheap price in singapore. Quite a number of cars are using this exos in Singapore. The stock LP570 is way too mellow and mild as compared to the older Superleggera. This exos can also be bolted unto a Balboni apparently.
